It was a bumpy pregnancy, Debbie was always researching and making suggestions to make things better. After our son was born the situation was even more trying. He was in the NICU having very serious medical issues and birth mother and father were arguing with one another. We felt very torn. Debbie was always the one to calm us down. Her years of knowledge and sound legal advise helped us wait for the storm to pass...and thankfully it did just like she said. Debbie made us aware of the risks and laid out timeframes for each step. I remember on the hardest day she called me late in the evening just to make sure we were ok. Debbie is very professional and warm. She saw us through the most difficult and joyous time of our life. We had peace of mind knowing she was by our side!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Deborah Spivack.

After almost a year with another attorney, who did absolutely nothing but write numerous unnecessary motions and schedule unrequested conference calls in order to inflate their bill, I went looking for a new lawyer. And I had the best luck possible in meeting Lou Guzzo. Not only was he able to resolve my issues quicker than I could have hoped for but I came out of court with everything I needed / wanted to move forward happily with my daughter. And a lot of bonuses I hadn't even thought to request. And he did all of that with sincere consideration for how much this custody battle had already cost me. I have recommended him to more than 1 friend since his expert handling of my case and if I should ever again need a lawyer he will be the only one I call.

I consulted Richard regarding an employment opportunity for a newly formed position, within a local…read morecompany. Post consultation, I hired him to guide me through the creation of the framework for the job. He was superb: first we sat down together and brainstormed about a contract, based upon a template of fair expectations. I then wrote the document, which Richard edited, and presented it to my proposed employer. Afterward, Richard helped me through every development in the negotiation process. Richard's intelligence on all matters proved invaluable. He was experienced, comprehensive and patient with the process, as I pursued a structure of employee - employer compromise. He made himself available at unreasonable hours to answer my questions and to settle my concerns. My contract was accepted with minor changes, and, because my current employment articulates the role within a clear and secure framework, I am extremely optimistic about the prospects of this company and my contributions to its future. I will be returning to Richard's practice in the years ahead because I am not interested in working with anyone else. It is rare to find the characteristics he exhibited in any professional environment but I am pleased and honored to write a review for his practice. Thank you, Richard!
