Lumbar spinal disc degeneration is no fun. One of the worst things you can do if you have this…read morecondition is participate in high impact sports such as running. I used to run 25 to 30 miles a week and did this for about 8 years. Unknowingly at the time, my lumbar spine and hips took a beating. I received a lumbar spinal fusion in 2001, and had complications (lumbosacral root disorder, hip spine syndrome and arthritis). Those complications led to my falling and sustaining 5 concussions (post concussion syndrome) in the last 2 years, and using a walker and a cane for mobility. Dr. Eric Ericson is my neurologist. I selected him after researching his credentials, which are outstanding. We also share the same alma mater (Go Cats!) so I felt comfortable immediately with him. What I like most about him is he listens and is supportive. The brain MRI results enabled him to create a plan tailored to my needs. With all of the falls, I've developed PTSD and painfully intense hip problems, too. I'm receiving hip injections, physical therapy, and massage and psychological counseling. Some days I want to throw in the towel, but my care team and family have been so supportive that there is no way I could ever let them down. I'm still climbing the mountain to recovery and know it will be strenuous at times, but I'm in good hands. I highly recommend Dr. Ericson and his staff because they not only know their stuff, but they really care. Yes, they care.

Not only is he compassionate but Dr. Holmes is also Patience kind polite understanding and a good listener. And his staff team front desk beautiful souls are also awesome polite a joy a delight. Yes yes yes this family team is triple AAA+ I sing the recommendoand I can't carry a tune . Thanks for the warmth given when I come for my appointments.

Be warned: Dr Leslie Masood is the insurance company's friend -- not yours…read more That's the best way I can describe my experience with Dr. Leslie Masood. From the start, it felt like her goal was to serve the insurance company's interests -- not to understand the full picture or provide fair, medically sound evaluation. She barely engaged with what was actually happening in front of her. Instead, she leaned heavily on selective records -- some of which were noted to be inaccurate -- and dismissed real, ongoing symptoms that had been documented by multiple trusted physicians, including specialists from the nation's #1 brain trauma recordist center. How can someone be trusted to assess a patient when their scope of vision seems firmly planted in whatever narrative benefits the insurance company? That's not medicine -- that's strategy disguised as care. If you're sent to her, go in with your eyes open. Bring a witness. Record if you're allowed. Take notes. Because in my experience, this wasn't about help, healing, or truth. It was about limiting liability -- and she did her part.

I finally am getting help from a pain doctor and have the correct diagnosis. I get the sense she gets some kind of monetary gain from always suggesting Botox (lots of quick money for the fast procedure). She races you through your 15 min appt. When I was in a severe headache state for months she suggested I take Aleve. I don't get why she wouldn't help me. I really don't.
