I chose Dr Miller as our primary doctor this last year, because he came recommended to us and our…read moredoctor had retired. Today, I will be looking for another primary doctor. I have struggled with fertility issues for many years. I've had 6 miscarriages. In addition to having Dr. Miller for my primary needs, I was seeing this other doctor to help figure out my fertility issues. That doctor ordered some blood work for me to have done. Dr. Miller, refuses to do the blood work I need done, even though he can and does do this blood work, all because another doctor ordered it So, now, not only do I still need to find someone to do this blood work for me, I now have to find another primary doctor I can trust and will work with my team of doctors. It's ok to have more than one doctor working with you, and Dr. Miller should understand and respect that. I'm very disappointed.

My wife and I found ourselves looking for a new primary care physician about 5 years ago. We…read moresettled in with Dr. Wilfred Miller (287 Family Medicine). We are senior citizens so we have seen quite a number of doctor offices during our lifetimes and have experienced a range of patient service. Hands down, Dr. Miller is the cream of the crop. Every conversation, whether via phone or in person, with him and his staff has been not only helpful but also very enjoyable. His flexibility, willingness to hear us out, to make thoughtful recommendations, and his overall accommodations/service are so much appreciated. His staff goes over the top to communicate throughly and thoughtfully. We are never met without a smile and sincere concern. Dr. Miller's office is named 287 Family Medicine and is located between Waxahachie and Midlothian at the intersection of 287 and Walnut Grove Road. The address is 4031 E US 287, Midlothian, TX, 76065 and is the stone building next door to the convenience store on the north side of 287. His office number is 972-346-8115.

The care is great from the providers, nurses. The issue is the autocracy in making an appt and…read morethe incorrect information on the portal. I had an appt for my 86 yo father on a Friday they listed as type of appt "hospital follow up" but he followed up after with the specialist that completed that. Then the app sends me daily messages to make a WellCare follow up. I ended up having to cancel the follow up appt I had for a month to turn around and change to WellCare appt for Medicare. Thing are way more complicated. I don't ask for hospital f/u appt they typed that in there. Taking off work for nothing Friday. So impersonal and God forbid you ask to speak to a person at the location, because who answers the phone is not at the location. It's so complicated to just see the doctor

They will not take any patient with medicare. seems they only want to take easy young patients…read more if you older then 65 they want nothing to do with you I called to check on what doctors are accepting new patients and told them I had medicare, last month and was give the name Dr SChoonover, I reqeust my medical records be transfered to him from the old doctor and called my insurance United Healthcare to change my PCP , once I got my new card I called to make an appointment. I was advised they are not taking any patient with medicare insurance. I do have a secondary insurance Untied healthcare but they still will not take me becasue I have Medicare. The represenative I spoke to one the phone wasn't very nice about it said that she can't control me being given wrong info. so now I have to wait and find another doctor. that will take medicare. Why is it that they won't take older folks that have insurance that I pay for. the girl told me they don't want to. plain and simple. what happened to doctors wanting to help people? once the started the concier service I knew that was the begining of doctors only choosing what patients they want to help. in looking I see a lot of one star reiews for this clinic. I'm shocked. the staff is the one making this clinic get poor reviews, I had gone to this clinc previously and the staff was great. wonder what happened?
