i can't say it enough-I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! i've been going here pretty much since it opened. back…read morein 1997, i was in a car accident with neck injuries. after surgery, i started therapy at jefferson hospital with the owner, bill. he mentioned they were opening a new office in bethel park. that would be so much closer to home! i started going there. i think i was 1 of mike's 1st clients! mike is the physical therapist there. he is a certified physical therapist, board certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy, certified orthopedic manual therapist, & certified in spinal manipulative therapy. the man knows EVERYTHING, i swear! when he works on you, he is calm, soft, not aggressive. i went to a couple other places before i found him! they were so rough, always in a hurry. he takes his time, & he explains everything he's doing before, & while he's doing it. i've actually said no to my doctor giving me 1 of their therapists! over the years since, other body parts have needed help! he has always been able to help me get back to a good point. do what he says, like doing the exercises every day!, & you'll move along with life. don't do your exercises, you take a chance that you'll be seeing mike again! it's just him & pam in the office. the 2 of them are a power team! pam runs the office as well as setting things up for mike with the clients. thank you both for all of your work! you deserve a pat on the back! if you need a physical therapist for any reason, check them out. they are tops in my book! 1 last parting bit of info-mike does NOT like tardiness! lol!

However, neither has ever been "preachy", nor condescending or patronizing. Rather, their knowledge and expertise (Dr. Bemis is also a nurse) is there for you to draw upon if interested. "Dr. Mark", the accupuncturist, is also on staff. I've had accupuncture at other places, and he is very good, very thorough, and, like Drs. Bemis and Ecker, listens to the patient, and is truly interested in proving the best (and most appropriate) treatment. They have Doug, the massage therapist, on site. Doug has been there over 20 years, and does a good massage (though I've only had an upper body from him). I highly recommend this staff.

Dr. Jared Bemis and Doug are kind and genuinely caring about my well-being! I've never had a better chiropractic experience. Each visit is tailored to my pain and needs and I leave feeling relieved to be on a path towards wellness. I have scoliosis that comes with chronic pain that can become unbearable at times. I've finally found a place that listens, understands and ultimately has the same goals I do - a pain-free life! The ladies at reception are sweet, intelligent and a pleasure to chat with each visit! I'm very grateful to have found a place close to home that goes the extra mile to put me back together. If you're in the market for a new office - this is the place!

I was having major postpartum lower back pain that I had been dealing with it for 9+ months and it…read morewas just getting worse. After dealing with this pain for so long I was desperate for a fix. I'd never done PT before so I didn't know what to expect. Colleen was fantastic to work with, she was patient and listened to my concerns (and complaining)! This location specializes in women's health and even more specifically postpartum care. The first thing they did when I came in to see them was do a pelvic evaluation. She was also able to check to see if I had diastasis recti, which I did. She came up with a game plan of exercises I did there and then was supposed to do at home (which I did diligently). We'd build on the exercises each week as well. I liked that I could come in and ask questions and make sure I was doing the newer exercises correctly. The first few weeks of the PT sessions I wasn't getting any better and was feeling pretty down about it, but Colleen explained it does take time. She also started to work on my back and do some deep tissue massages that was SO PAINFUL but SO HELPFUL afterwards. It loosened me up so much for the whole day and sometimes even for the entire week. After about a month and a half of going I started to see small changes. I couldn't even stand for a second without my back hurting prior to going in. Standing up from sitting was also extremely painful. That started to go away slowly. I was hopeful one moment and then would go back to pain and again get frustrated, but I stuck with my exercises and Colleen stuck with helping me feel better through new ways to perform the motions or just words of encouragement. Finally around week 9 or 10 I started to feel sweet relief and it was awesome. I was like, okay, this is actually working and helped me feel better. My back is feeling better now and I'm so glad to share this resource for other women going through postpartum pain (or pain in general). Colleen was truly a delight to just chat with in our sessions. We would often get derailed by talking about good food and wine. So don't get discouraged, just give them a call! This was actually my second PT after the first one (a male) didn't seem to take me seriously. This issue needed a specialized place and I'm glad I found them!
