They just asked to be on a retainer and they would bill me monthly, but I didn't have access to the estate funds. I met with David Horton (not a paralegal or jr. atty.) and he is wonderful! He advised the Trust was well written (by another atty.), advised me what to look forward too, and gave me an estimate of costs. I felt so relieved. He also has great "teasing banter" with his staff, which I believe shows a kind and honest man to work for.
