I paid $2500.00 for him to get this case thrown out before court. He told me that he would put a mitigation packet together and it would be an easy dismissal. He told me a week before court not to even bother going. My arraignment was February 5 2021. A day before that court appearance Miguel called me and said that he could not represent me and would give me a refund. He also stated he would give me this mitigation packet. I got my money but he never came to court and did not give me any of the documents that were supposedly sent to the DA. When I went to court they doubled my bail and added a strike. Four months of my defense is wasted. I got assigned a public defender who I still have not been able to contact. I made a formal complaint with the state bar. This guy is not only a bad lawyer, he is a predator. Watch out.

After a week I followed up and he said he has not had a chance to review it in detail. After about 5 follow ups over the course of 2-3 months he finally said he could not help me at all. When I asked for recommendations as to who could do this type of law in the area he said does not have that information and he is extremely busy and abruptly hung up on me. Maybe Chris is a great attorney however unfortunately for me it was similar experience to many lawyers. Talk big and deliver nothing. I would seek counsel elsewhere.

Attorney Garcia was honest and forthright in estimating the probability of win in court and he over performed with a resulting dismissal of the suit. It was excellent and got the suit dismissed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.

By the time anything was done, the tenant had already moved out ( mind you that was 2 1/2 months or maybe even 3 months, after I hired this ambulance chaser ) leaving me with thousands of dollars in losses, due to the loser squatting in my house for 5 months rent free. Yet, mr Garcia Then claimed he would pursue a judgment--gathering my information, photos, etc. yet another promise that went nowhere. When the case finally appeared on the calendar, the confusion and panic coming from his office made it painfully clear that nothing had been handled properly. Shortly after, I received paperwork showing the case was no longer being handled by his office. Not surprise at all. Nor did I actually care, because at that point, I found an amazing attorney who actually cares (yet best for Mr Garcia to use his own time & money and file the paperwork then me - and that's just what he had to do). This wasn't a simple oversight from Mr Garcia . It's a pattern of his negligence. Based on my experience, and on the similar stories shared by others ( who private messaged me ) , I cannot recommend his services to anyone. He's very lazy at his job. Don't say I didn't warn ya!
