I'm not sure what "Mike R.", Ryan V." or "Kerri C." have been smoking or ingesting, but they couldn't be more wrong about this physician's motivation, his work ethics or the attitude of his very professional staff.
Off and on, I have been a patient of this fine man and his awesome staff for nearly 10 years. I have YET to see him exhibit ANY sign of doubt, or any "in it for the money" attitude. Quite the contrary! He has always gone above and beyond in his care, his compassion and genuine expertise. It was Dr. Jeff Lamour's quick and dead-on accurate expertise that saved my foot!!!! For months and months, he went above and FAR beyond to make sure I received the finest care available until my injury was completely healed! How dare you moan and groan about appointment times Mike R.!!! This man did NOT care one bit about "his bottom line" when he performed all the therapy my extended wound care required, Kerri C.! If I am walking today it's because of the self-less actions of Dr. Jeff Lamour.
As for your appt being 15 minutes late Mike R. .... If you ever DO find a physician who can take you in at the exact moment of your appointment, then you're not in the U.S. any longer! I guess by THAT rationale, Mike R., Dr. Lamour should have just left YOU hanging to go on to his next patient, just to make sure that their appointment time was kept 'dead-on'. THAT would have been an "in it for the money thing to do. Or maybe a person't surgery should be compromised because Mike R.or Kerri C. or Ryan V with the street-corner hippie diagnostician want to make sure they don't wait a day or two. Shame on you, all.
Oh and did you actually complain that it only took Dr. Lamour 30 secs or so to diagnose your planar fascitis??? Do you believe that he's an amateur who needs to hem and haw for a while before making a diagnosis? This physician's credentials are phenomenal, and he has more experience than just about anyone else in his field here. He sees nearly every manner of foot ailment and disease many times each month, Mike R. You were in with the BEST! I guess you really DON'T appreciate how good a physician can be, do you?
Shouldn't YOU be more aware of what YOUR insurance co-pays are, and not necessarily a doctor's office? (Heck, I know exactly what mine are...) And when the receptionist asked you to pay what you believed it is, she was showing YOU some trust. Doesn't really sound like an "in it for the money" attitude to me, Kerri C. ...
As far as the rest of all your little 'complaints'.... it very much sounds as if YOU'RE the ones who walked in with the 'attitude' and everything that happened after that you just magnified and altered a bit to suit your moods.
You sound like rather unrealistic people who believe the whole world owes them something and my guess is, you were still upset even though you were treated more than fairly.
Please don't take that out on this good and caring physician -- he deserves better from all of you. read more
