I go in there looking for an Excel book I found online but they didn't have it in stock. Found…read moresomething else I wanted and go to the front counter. She checks me out and asks me to pick 3 magazines. I'm like ok whatever, she said I got two issues free, I said ok fine. I pay for what I purchased and she hands me a slip to sign. I'm like I used my debit card why do I need to sign? so I read the slip. They are sending my debit card info to the company that will be sending the magazines and it was an authorization to charge my card for the magazines. I said Um no I'm not signing that and I slid the paper back to her. She looked at me and Goes Ma'am you're gonna have to sign it. I looked at her and said Sweetheart I don't have to do a damn thing but pay taxes and die. The little front end dude comes over there and is like what's going on? she tells him and he goes well all you have to do is call and cancel before the two months is up and I said No, I don't want to do that. I will never remember to do that and it's inconvenient, when that was not explained to me from the very beginning. he goes well we can go ahead and call right now and cancel. I said Fine, go ahead and picked up my bag and walked out. So be careful if you plan to go to Books A Million anytime soon, the scams are out there. I won't be returning anytime soon, if ever.

Have been around for 45 years. Shelves are in alphabetical order by author with romance novels leading the way by many shelves. Mystery and science fiction are both vying for 2nd place. Children's books are a book case. Prices are reasonable. Owner very friendly and talkative. I look forward to coming back.

The books are all in alphabetical order by author either written 10 years ago or last weeks title released in the same section. A section for latest releases (used) would make me stop in more often and check that area at least. I only visit occasionally now as I'm not a rummage around/poke around the shelves and hunt kind of girl.

Walter is AWESOME! I needed to buy two books for my nieces for Christmas and after looking online,…read moreit showed they had it in stock. When I called, one of the books was nowhere to be found. Walter ordered it for me, but it wouldn't be in for a week. I have to ship these to Alaska, and I am hoping to get them there by Christmas, so the sooner I can buy them, the better. I received another call about two hours later, maybe less, and Walter said he just couldn't let it go, and finally was able to hunt the book down. What a fabulous store with excellent customer service. Someone give that man a raise. It's Christmas! :)

Which is a plus when you want to find something new and out of the box. Don't get me wrong they have the classics as well. But I cant say enough about how this staff stays up to date. It really seems like villains has the inside track when it comes to all the new workshops and conventions.. This shop might be small but it packs a punch for all you comic book lovers. The selection of toys could be better, but you can get just about anything you might want here, and let's face it.. You know what you want here, no need for me to go into detail of what that might be. Everything is locked up, so you have to ask for assistance to look at anything closely. It's defiantly female friendly, but if your a shy type male or female, bring a friend who has no qualms asking for assistance with items your not comfortable discussing with a stranger. They have a small sections for outfits, a larger section for reading/viewing materials and another section of the store containing other things that, if you're reading this, you may perhaps have an interest in. The prices will be more than on Amazon - but so is everywhere else. What you can do is get a better understanding of certain dimensions and power capabilities. I certainly don't go here often, but when I have had occasion to stop in, nothing about the visit caused me to feel anything but a welcome customer. No open or concealed carry in here - FYI - proper legal signage is posted at the entrance.
