For the 2nd time in 3 years, my 50-student/parent tour group got stranded at MSP on our flights home and Valley Bus came to the rescue both times, reaching out late in the evening to offer help when they saw our flights were canceled to come pick us up from what would likely be days waiting for flight rebookings into FAR for a group our size. I can't say enough good things about how thoughtful Cordell has been to reach out and how kind the drivers have been through last minute LONG drives with exhausted middle schoolers in tow. THANK YOU!!

Staff was on the phone and the only one on duty, so more coverage may lend for a better customer experience. The attendant apologized and was very sincere about it. Also, we didn't prefer the ground level room assigned to us, and we were promptly accommodated with a higher floor. The new room was decent. The picture was missing from the wall with just the hangers still in the wall. Something was ripped from the bathroom, not sure if it was the hair blower or a mirror, so not the plushest room. It's decent enough, but I probably would not try to stay here again. They do offer free breakfast, which is nice. Normally that's told to you upon checkin, however we read it. Our tv was not plugged in, however, the attendant did fix that and brought us more toilet paper we requested. They do aim to please here if you ask, and I respect that, the reason for a 3 star instead of 2. Just not quite what I'm used to as far as hotel stays.

After reading the reviews for local taxi services and googling a million options for transportation…read morefrom the hospital on Broadway, I tried calling dispatch for the public bus system. ANDREW, you're awesome! Super helpful and really understanding! I needed route information for a family member who was stuck at the hospital and needed to get back to their hotel. They were from out-of-town and so am I, but I was able to give ANDREW the starting/ending addresses and he gave me detailed info for bus routes/times/fares that my family member could use. Sadly, she found alternate transportation so I have no idea how good MATBUS actually is, but A+ on the dispatch side. FYI, if you're from out-of-town, don't bother with trying to decipher the maps that MATBUS provides on their website. Even knowing exactly where my family member was going, I totally couldn't understand which lines she needed to take so calling dispatch was my only option, but like I said SUPER HELPFUL people!
