Close to shopping, restaurants, but the view from our hotel room was a picturesque farm and countryside. Friendly staff. Thankful it was pet-friendly, and the cost for our pets wasn't exorbitant...it wasn't a "per night" cost that could add up quickly; rather, it was a flat cost. Definitely recommend.

Also nice to see normal sized shampoo, conditioner and body wash as I forget mine at home and those bitty bottles don't do nothing for a full grown anyone. I am BLOWN away that there is a dishwasher, full fridge instead of mini and a microwave along with a "kitchen sink" right in the hotel room also. AWESOME! Also the app to not only open all doors but also to get into the building. Talk about safety. I mean it's SUPER annoying when our phones always demagnetize our key cards so I luv it. Now for the downside... we found a stink bug in our room! Now how it got in here is the question. I mean coulda been worse and been a spider or bed bugs, but if I hadn't seen it on our window and again on a shelf well it coulda appeared anywhere while we were sleeping. Therefore I take off a star. Love everything ya got going on here buuuuut maybe try not to let bugs in the building lol Just a friendly suggestion UPDATE the bug came back OR it was the same one NOW dead bc for some reason my mom did not kill it before throwing it away. It's a huge room it woulda been fine but ya ew

I visited Lewisburg and The WV Fairgrounds this weekend for the Healing Appalachia Festival…read more Entrance was very easy, security was doing minimal checks. You were allowed to exit and reenter with a wristband- the entrance seemed a little sporadic though with people coming and going and it probably would've been easy to just walk right in and bypass security/ticket scanners. Not a ton of food vendors so every line was 40+ people long. I only saw two sections for bathrooms- I waited 30 minutes in the early evening. Trash cans were around but were all overflowing. Grounds are flat and easily walkable and accessible. Parking was free. Sound was pretty good- especially for Tyler Childers. The biggest cluster mess was exit. There was apparently only one exit from the venue, so THOUSANDS of people are trying to exit at once. Why not open up the various gates around the venue to let people out? Also, upon leaving, the path bottlenecks to walk through a tunnel and that just added to the cluster mess when trying to leave. Upon leaving the tunnel, there was yet ANOTHER bottle neck because of security! They had tents and card tables lined up so that you could only exit through about an 8 foot space which was completely stupid! The exit was so horrible and took almost 20 minutes to walk .2 miles out of the venue and into the parking lots. There was also no one directing traffic upon exit, so that was another mess to deal with. I had a nice time listening to the music, but the exit was such a mess and other logistics could've been handled better!

Finding parking was basically impossible we had to go down the street and park. The staff are unreasonably mean. The speakers for the grandstand are way too loud to the point it could cause permanent hearing damage so go with ear protection. There was pets in the there too. I saw a dog lunge at another guest. Also very overpriced.

My friend and I decide to come to Lewisburg because I heard it was a cool place to have lunch. The lunch decision was between a Mexican restaurant across the street or at Food and Friends, and ultimately Food and Friends won out and we stepped into this restaurant, hoping to have a nice lunch together. It was just after 1 PM when we came into the restaurant and we sat almost immediately because there was a table available at. The entire experience took about an hour or so and it was enjoyable for sure. The restaurant itself was cute and unique. The menu was cute and the prices were decent. My friend decided to pick up the tab for both of us because I was visiting and that was nice. I started the meal with the French onion soup, which was a first for me. It was a good delicious appetizer for me that was awesome. It warmed the soul and my stomach. For the main course, I had this steak and shrimp salad dish, which was good and refreshing. It was nice because it wasn't too much carbs and it was nice to have steak for lunch at least once in my trip to West Virginia. The ambiance was nice and quiet. It was definitely a nice lunch spot on a quiet Wednesday November afternoon in Lewisburg. Food and Friends is a nice restaurant in the heart of Lewisburg. Check them out if you're in the area! I would wholeheartedly recommend coming here. They have a ton of great options to choose from and the service is great and friendly. I enjoyed myself with my friend for lunch. Hopefully you will too with your party. The overall experience here at Food and Friends - Lewisburg was very nice and pleasant. It was also a great choice to have lunch. The staff here was very accommodating and friendly. It was a typical experience that made me happy that it was a good choice. The restaurant itself was clean and cozy. It felt like a small converted house, with the main floor for customers. I felt that the French onion soup was the featured dish for me and the salad was the accompaniment to a wonderful day so far. Both dishes were freshly made and served with love. It was very refreshing and satisfying. Never needed dressing too, since the steak was prepared with enough spice and all of the things. Even the shrimps were sautéed and cooked to perfection. Just wanted something light and simple without having it to be heavy on the stomach and this steak and shrimp salad that Food & Friends made was amazing and out of this world. As far as the seating arrangements, we got to sit near the entrance, which was good. There was not much air conditioning since it was fairly cool conditions at the time for mid November. Comfortable chairs and furniture make it a little homespun while you dine here. It was a nice place to dine here and definitely a nice place to be. If you are a fan of local comfort food without the price bloat, consider coming here to Food & Friends restaurant in Lewisburg. It may be off the beaten path, but once you get here, you'll be glad you did. Trust yourself and treat yourself. You'll be well rewarded! If you're lucky to be here, you might find yourself dining in a hidden gem restaurant. Definitely recommend Food & Friends. Food & Friends restaurant is a cute boutique restaurant in the heart of Lewisburg, West Virginia. It's physically located at 878 Washington Street here in Lewisburg. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far parking goes, your best bet would be to find street parking wherever you can find it and walk on over to the restaurant. The town of Lewisburg is small enough to where parking can be found anywhere that's legal to park. Ideally, having a car of your own or renting one in a larger city is helpful to get to Lewisburg. I'm not sure if the town of Lewisburg has a public transportation system for anyone and everyone to use to get around. Then there is the topic of Uber or Lyft to get you here, but the drive is long anywhere from Lewisburg, in general. With that said, your best bet would be to get here with a friend or try to get a rental on your own. It'll be quite the expense to try to Uber here from Princeton, Bluefield, or Beckley. Or even from Charleston too. The food here is good and the company was great. I enjoyed myself here for lunch on a November 2025 outing here to Lewisburg. Hope you can make it out here. The town is nice and small enough to walk around for an afternoon. Food & Friends was my favorite place to have lunch in. Hopefully it will be yours as well. They'll love to have you, I'm sure of it. 5.0 stars for the overall experience. Support local! A+
