I didn't question it, since I only had 120 pounds and the loss was just $3 ($0.075/lb vs. $0.10/lb). But you should for items that aren't like the thinner metals of stoves and refrigerators. Either way, I took it, weighed in and out on their scale, but had to wait for them to verify since the wind was gusting and making the scale alone bounce up and down 80 pounds. They were fair in their final assessment, equal to what I weighed at home and confirmed by googling the weight of my items. Bottom line: Fair, but do double check they categorize your item right, as they will otherwise default to the cheapest option: sheet iron.

Came here to drop off some everyday batteries. I remembered I had to put each battery in its own…read moreseparate plastic bag and then for any lithium batteries, I put tape over the top where the plus and minus were. Once I got to the area to drop them off, I had to get out of my vehicle to take the items to a table where an employee was there to take them. I had to then remove each battery from its bag to which the employee place them in containers they had (I saw they all didn't go in the same one). As I went through the process, they gave me some extra tips which I appreciated. One of them was that I should use shipping tape and not regular tape so that was good to know. Great service overall.

Another they wouldn't take roof shingles, so I said fine, ill just dump the wood, nope, said i couldn't go in with shingles at all. What? Other times, i go in, drive right in, dump my stuff and don't even talk to anyone. This place needs to get their life together. Either have a process or not. Were getting less and less for our tax dollars.
