The first class they put me into (they don't give you a choice) was a racist filth film class from the early years of filmmaking. It was an art history film course. First films assigned were racist propaganda, featuring Birth of a Nation & other films that used slurs against black children and other derogatory filth. The professor didn't even bother to address anything creative in the film at all, he focused only on the tech & business end of the medium. They hold your student loan money for a month, after they lie about when you will receive it, in order to get you in the door. In an 8 week course, you can't get your books until the fourth week, because they refuse to give you your money. Once in, you are at the mercy of their racism and they hit you with it first thing in the door. They are grifters not educators, certainly not a respected way to pursue education goals.

There are some great highs of STLCC Meramec Campus, spent a few years here and for the most part…read morethe staff and community is great. Where they fall unfortunately for the most part is the administration. I've seen first had how they treat some students. It has to be one of the higher ups cause I don't know there title, but this person seem to think they are better than the rest and I see all the time them billeting students from outside in the open, and in the hallways of staff areas. Advising as well can be miss informing to their students, or maybe aren't fully trained cause a lot of them do look younger to be handling students futures. Of course not saying younger people can't, cause I am a younger man, people just need proper guidance however. A lot of potentially buy maybe if they focus the community as a whole instead of upgrading there campuses they would have a better reviews.

This is more of an informative review than anything else, people ask me about Tyson all the time…read more Its a 2,000 acre research station located outside STL off I-44 and owned by Washington University. I have a research studio here, so I go here on a regular basis for the last 15 years. It is NOT open to the public and some very serious research in the plant and animal sciences happen here not only by WU researchers, but faculty from all over the county come here, especially in the summer. The Wild Canid Research Center is also located at Tyson and it is not part of WU but leases space from the University, they often have programs for the public but generally, they are by prior arrangement.
