The professor was extremely accessible by email for questions regarding the course. There was actually some personal contact with her and she left criticism on some of the writing assignments we did. She did not weigh in on the weekly discussions publicly but she did leave some comments for each person. The assignments were a combination of computer graded tests and quizzes with a few personal writing assignments. It was a pleasant class and I'm glad I took it. The administrative staff at Wildwood is extremely accommodating and nice to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to return if need be and I would highly recommend this campus over other larger ones like Forest Park.

After finishing a bachelor's degree, I worked for a year then decided to pursue a master's degree in a different field. I needed to take about 6 pre-requisite courses and chose this campus because of its close proximity to my home, low cost, and offering of all required classes I needed. I have to say, the education I received here was top notch, with some classes even higher quality than those at my top 20 undergraduate university. From the moment I walked through the door to register for classes, everyone was so kind, warm, welcoming, and clearly rooting for me to succeed. My instructors were passionate and skilled in their various subjects, and it was clear that they truly took an interest in the learning experiences of their students. This campus has a library with free tutoring services, a snack shop that also sells fair trade items from around the world, students' artwork hanging all around the building, and (perhaps best of all) free parking. The building is very nice with well-equipped classrooms. I made it to graduate school with no problem and all my credits easily transferred. If you're looking for a high quality, affordable, all around solid education, STLCC-Wildwood is an excellent option!

Was initially satisfied but it seems unless you are planning to spend upwards of $500 per week…read more(part time- ~30 hrs/week) or about $1000 (fulltime- 40 hrs/week), you do not get many very experienced sitters/nannies. When paying on average of $17.50 an hour (on top of a $99 sign up fee) for on-call sitter for your child, you do not have access to all available nannies to choose from. Other than the first visit to meet the director, there is little contact with management. Everything is done through a phone app or email which is not user friendly. When paying $17.50 an hour for a sitter for your child, you do not have access to all available nannies to choose from. They try to "match" the sitter to fit your family's needs but then if a sitter decides to change what hours they want to work and it does not correspond with your work schedule, you have to wait and wait to find a "fill in" or try a new sitter without given any options. Sitters are just randomly assigned. Some of the sitters say they have 5+ years experience, yet, they are late teens or early 20s? One sitter said she had 10+ years experience and she is 22 years old? There are some with 0 childcare experience placed with an infant? "Experience" is just a term and not truly an experience. You let these young ladies into your home, but beware, they can take photos of your child without permission and sometimes even post on social media? Facetiming while watching your child is justified since it was the "sitter's sister and did not mean harm". Ignoring your 7 month old child, who is crying while the sitter is on the phone guiding her sister through an interview, as I watched on our security camera. Hearing the same sitter say "oh no, don't cry, I don't have time for that" can be quite disturbing. You have to watch what hours they log since some will put the entire time they were scheduled even if their time was less, but no matter what a 3 hour minimum is required- even if you only need 2 hours. Another sitter allows a 15 month old listen to profanity laden music- poor character or judgement? Not sure. The most valuable sitter no longer wants to be in our home because she cannot be cancelled and needs consistent hours but can no longer work afternoons. Even after manipulating our own work schedules (which a lot of parents cannot), it still wasn't "constant" enough. She was to be our regular nanny on a specific day and had been for a year. It is very evident that this company does not orient their staff in a consistent manner. Some sitters are not experienced with younger ages and when you watch a sitter call her mom to find out if it is "ok to just let the baby cry" is a little ridiculous. She was due to eat and also overdue for a nap. She could not figure this out even though it was written down on the kitchen table with our child's daily routine. Over a span of 14 months, we had 8 sitters and 5 of them were appropriate but only 1 was long term and is no longer available to fill our hours and she is the best they have. The other 4 are not available since they have either gone back to school out of town or are on another assignment. We have worked with this company for a year and have no access to a list of profiles of available nannies/sitters to review nor is there ever any availability for weekend evenings for parents to have a night out. ?? Now there is limited sitters available and it is difficult to have a consistent sitter for a toddler. Which is what a toddler needs. A company whom provides services of childcare should not make a family think twice about working. Not very parent friendly. Ready to look elsewhere.
