Of course she only said this once I reached out and said I was unhappy working with the new agent. However before this, I was never notified about this nor was this updated on my insurance policies because they all stated that Keri was still my agent. Anyway the inexperienced colleague tried to convince me to stay with my current insurance company even though the roof deductible was more than doubled than the previous year and didn't even cover roof replacement. DON'T RECOMMEND Options Insurance, poor customer service and they don't have the best interest for you, the customer.

All these coverages were complex and costly and years later when we suffered a large claim, Chubb closed that office in 2007, here in Minnesota. ( Rosenbloom& Rosenbloom. Moved all their staff to an existing company). We had a lovely agent who was not well trained and had made major errors. In our policy. So we lost.... a lot. So ... I am now very very careful in researching agents, READING Yelp reviews, all of them, and especially learning exploring the many questions to ask. Then, I spent 2-3 long relaxed calls with most of the agents over several days. I took detailed notes and keep them in a Meade flexi 3 ring binder with names of agents dates at the top of each page. I find careful detailed notes are a big help in deciding which agent looks the best. Natalie is the VERY best agent I ever had in all these years. She is bright, extremely knowledgeable in all aspects nuances of coverage/ claims issues, so very comfortable easy and calm to work with, (rare) and a truly lovely and delightful human being. She and I spent many calls going over all the details of the needed policy. Our coverage is very complex and includes a rental with important old pieces of furniture and a lot of " stuff" in storage. Farmers to my knowledge is the ONLY company that will provide homeowners with 100 % coverage also on your storage. ( good if you are renting and storing most of your things for selling or family distribution later!!). Most other companies only offer 10 % of the total homeowners on storage or 25-50 %. I interviewed five other companies and Farmers offered us the most thorough RENTAL homeowner's insurance coverage. Their terms are EXCELLENT, their coverage easy to digest, and you can settle the contract with 100 % PEACE-OF-MIND! Good luck!!

I was in my final stage of purchasing a home and my previous insurance agent (one I quoted online by myself) decided to disappear off the face of the earth all of a sudden. I gave JC a call at 3pm and he was able to help me find better coverage for approximately $600 less than my previous quote. He was able to finalize and let my lender know right away just before close of business and get the binder to the lender the next day! I'm very impressed with JC's work ethics and diligence. But I dealt with it because all I really cared about was her doing her job. As I accumulated policies and multi-line discounts, when premiums would go up and I would ask for more info, I repeatedly have received inconsistent answers that don't match up. Then I was told that State Farm policies prevented her from doing anything about it, which was never brought up to me in the past. I was initially told that there would be no extra fees, but when I got my first bill she told me I had to pay the premium for two months that I was not even receiving insurance for. Furthermore, I did not receive my first bill in the mail. Instead, the first billing correspondence I received in the mail was a notice of overdue payments. When I called to explain my confusion and sort this out, Ms. Trondson seemed cold and unsympathetic. She told me I never received the first bill in the mail because it was in my online profile. Again, I didn't recall this ever being explained to me. On December 16th, I had found quotes from other companies with significantly lower premiums, so I called Ms. Trondson to inform her I would not be renewing my policy, which was up for renewal on January 12th. I wanted to give her advance notice so that my policy would not be automatically renewed. Ms. Trondson tried to convince me that those quotes from other companies would eventually balloon, so I informed her I would come back if that turned out to be the case. So she thanked me for my business and said goodbye. Then I got a notice in that mail that she had CANCELLED MY POLICY ON DECEMBER 16TH, LEAVING ME WITH NO AUTO INSURANCE. Maaaaaaaybe she misunderstood me, but more likely it seems that she was mad that I would no longer be giving her money so she cancelled my policy immediately WITHOUT MY APPROVAL. So needless to say, I would not recommend her services.
