It happened to be the place that I purchased a majority of my gifts from. The chocolate is high quality and the flavor combinations are superb. Not only that, but they have THE CUTEST gifts. A tin can of sardines (milk chocolate) and a bread basket of baguettes (also milk chocolate). The service here was wonderful too. Patient, knowledgeable and non-condescending. The second time I went the guy even spoke to me in slow minimal French. That made me feel really happy. :)

The designs that distinguish the flavors also make for a very aesthetically pleasing box when arranged. The last few times I have bought gifts for people who appreciate chocolate but are a bit more health-conscious; for these friends I was able to create a box with solely dark chocolates. The boxes of chocolates are beautifully packaged and the gold Edwart logo on the box and bag add a note of "luxury" to the gift. The staff I've encountered have always been very nice and helpful, and a few times when I've come in, they have let me pick one or two flavors to try for free while putting together my boxes of chocolates.

They have single pieces of choclate available for purchase or you can mix and match. They all sell pastel colored, candy and chocolate covered almonds. Think Jordan almonds but waaay better. If you're buying a gift make sure to let them know so they can wrap it up nicely for no extra charge. They also sell colorful boxed chocolate bars that are various levels of chocolate from mill, to dark and filled with different items. Word of caution: If you have a nut allergy though this may not be the place for you. Almost everything has some type of nut (hazelnut, almond, etc) or is produced on a machine that shared equipment with nuts.
