Greed is not a character trait I want in my agent. Jeff case purchased Bob McVittys Allstate agency. ( same location, new, "owner"), Jeff Case. It came to my attention that my "income stream" Had been purchased by Jeff Case without any advance notice. Apparently as a client, I can be sold ..w.t.f. I also discovered that even if I found a new agent to service my loan , Jeff Case would continue to get the commissions from my business since he "bought me". The new agent would service me for free. I'm not o.k. with that. I found out that I could have the commissions from my business transferred to an Allstate agent of my choice but Jeff, would have to sign off on the transfer. Allstate corporate told him I wanted my commissions transferred , He declined the option. I have the email from Allstate in my possession explaining that. I am shopping for a new insurance agency. Asked several times to be taken off of innane email marketing list. Was not respected in this regard. I don't want to go to the movies with you or start an intimate relationship! Take me off your list and show some courtesy and real proffessionalism by actually heeding your paying customers! Appaled at the mindlessness and total incompetence of this agency. NOT in good hands. Jeff Case's agency was recommended to me by a friend who said that they saved her lots of money and also were really easy to deal with. Stay away from this office - do not trust Jeff Case. When we moved I cancelled a 3rd party umbrella policy by talking to Jeff Case on the phone, giving him my new address for the refund. I realized several months later that it had not been cancelled and immediately called his office. The 3rd party company would not refund back to the original date - and I agree that it wasn't their fault. It was a simple case of Jeff Case himself dropping the ball but refusing to give me the refund owed. Initially Jeff Case (and his office assistant) admitted flat out to me that they dropped the ball, and were trying to get me a refund. When they could not get someone else to give me the refund Jeff Case and his office went through a series of excuses - first that it was illegal to refund because of AK insurance rebate laws (no, the AK Insurance office confirmed that a cancelled premium refund was not an "inducement"), then that I had initially talked to an ex-employee (no, I talked to Jeff), then that I had not noticed monthly amounts coming out of my checking acct (no, I paid in full initially), etc. The Allstate Sales Lead got involved and was sympathetic to me but stated repeatedly that he had no authority over Jeff Case. At a certain point Jeff Case stopped returning calls even when he told the Sales Lead he would call me. I complained to Allstate company management and they filed a formal complaint. read more
