Dr. Jageman is the best dentist I've ever had. His staff is fun & polite. I actually don't fear my appointments.

If I could give 0 stars I would. First and foremost you are thrown into an open cube that used to…read morebe something else and is now sort of a dental area. there is no water at your dental chair when they are doing procedures to fit you for dentures. NO WATER. You can't spit, you can't rinse, nothing. They pull your dentures in and out of your mouth put them on and off of the tray and expect you to keep putting your dentures back in your mouth like this with no water available! I was gagging!! ...OK, First visit was an evaluation for a new set of dentures. You have an assistant who seems to really know what she is doing, and you have a "doctor" (the assistant calls all the "doctors" "Doc" but she seems to know way more than they do and is teaching them) So she looks in your mouth and starts spouting off things. I was told I would need a painful and unnecessary procedure, (cutting of the frenulum, aka that fold of skin between the top lip and the gum) so that the denture would "fit right and not break." I have had 3 sets of dentures, my parents had them, friends have had them, and NONE of us ever had to have such a procedure. Now I have learned it is only done if there is an issue. That was 500.00 they tried to slam me with right off, and then another 500.00 for an "accidental" double billing. That's a thousand right there. And then of course I had to get the best set there is because the others were inferior due to this and that. Also, they made color choice a big deal, like they are great for having variety. Like, doesn't everyone want bright white nowadays? Anyway, so at the next visit, the fitting visit, while pulling things in and out of my mouth with gunk on them, and having me put my own teeth in and then out and then in again I had to ask for water. The assistant, although she seems to know what she is doing acted as if I were being a baby when i had to put my teeth back in and she said, "why, they are YOUR teeth" and I was gagging and I said, "i know but that is disgusting" and she didn't roll her eyes, BUT she gave me the same type attitude energy and filled a cup a little larger than a dixie cup half way across the room at a sink and came back and handed it to me. This was traumatizing by the time it was over. I went to the bathroom to rinse my mouth and get a grip and guess what .. the bathroom has one of those cheap faucets that is supposed to work for so many seconds after you put your hand under it... well ... it wasn't working. OMG. They don't want to give away water. We DO live near a lake ... So I ran into the employee bathroom, didn't care at this point, and there I had it, like a fountain of liquid gold. Finally some water!!!! So by the time I got home I had decided i was never going back. I called the place and left a message for the "doctor" to call me. Nobody ever did. I disputed the deposit they made me leave with my credit card provider. Oh yeah, and when they doubled billed me, they said they "already ran the charge" for the deposit and would just take the difference they overcharged me off of the final bill. Stay away from this ASSEMBLY LINE!!
