Terrible terrible dry cleaners. Have been customers for 10 years. During that time have had other people's clothes given to me and my own had to be returned because of bad dry cleaning. Kept giving them more chances because they said we would be vip customers which would ensure better service. Surely all customers are entitled to a good service. The final straw is that they have ruined my husband's $3,000 Harrolds silk blazer. I have called them four times and been promised that the owner would call me back. I have heard nothing from him. They do not deserve anyone's business. Obviously not doing well as they need to price all their dry cleaning at $10 per item. We knew that their prices where high but we decided to take our special items to them because we had read good reviews about Jeeves being a drycleaner that you could trust to do a quality job on delicate items. Nothing could be further from the truth. Not only did they do a poor job but they were not professional -- we were treated very rudly by 'Kev' -- and when we went back to collect the "redo" of four knit garments they looked exactly the same -- hung over hangers with random creases, areas visibly stretched out of shape and, in some cases, discolored. For the third time, we asked them to correct the problems but when we picked them up they were in the exact same state -- it appears that they simply hung our garments back up to wait for collection. We will go elsewhere but feel we must warn the public. Don't go near Jeeves, in Lindfield, they will charge you high rates for poor care of your garments and equally poor -- actually non-existant -- customer service. Stay away!!! read more

**** WARNING **** DO NOT USE THIS DRY CLEANER **** WARNING **** Please avoid this dry cleaner. My wife had an expensive Gown custom made for our wedding. We left it in the care of Jeeves to be professionally cleaned and preserved. We were advised that the service would be completed in one month. It was returned to us over 5 months later and was ruined beyond repair. The irreversible damage was caused by the incompetence and inexperience of the entire business particularly the owner, Kevin. They advertise and claim to be expert dry cleaners specializing in wedding Gowns, however we discovered them to be grossly incapable and unprofessional. Jeeves displayed little knowledge, experience and appropriate skills required to undertake the cleaning and preservation of delicate items, especially wedding gowns. Kevin reluctantly accepted responsibility for the damage, however refused to compensate my wife and I for the damage his negligence had caused. He prompted us to take legal action through the tribunal and he eventually agreed to pay a very small portion of our claim. Throughout the entire 16-month ordeal, Jeeves or Kevin never apologized to my wife and I for what they had caused. I would never use this business again. Don't trust Jeeves with your silk wedding dress! I did and now have a ruined, worthless dress. And both the owner and the drycleaner refuse to acknowledge any responsibility, let alone apologise - or refund the $400+ dry cleaning fee or compensate me for a $3000 new dress. At the time I left the dress for cleaning (which had predominately a dirty hemline and train), the dry cleaner showed me a silk dress which had been adversely affected by dry cleaning. BUT he urged me to trust him to clean mine carefully based on his 20+ years of experience in the business and HE accepted the job. Jeeves' website also claims that they have machines to clean ALL types of wedding dress materials. After taking 5 months to finish the cleaning, I was shocked to be confronted with my dress. The skirt fabric was no longer a brilliant white, with body and a glistening sheen, but limp, dull and discoloured - the integrity of the fabric gone. They now maintain that dry cleaning thai silk ALWAYS ends up this way. If this is true, why would they ever agree to clean such a dress?? In addition to the unacceptable result, the owner has behaved less than impressively in terms of customer service. He didn't reply to my emailed letter of complaint and when I visited the store subsequently, he didn't identify himself as the owner and pretended not to know details of the situation. read more
