After speaking to his equally kind office manager, she said let me put the doctor on the phone. I was not a patient of his but he came right to the phone, took the time to listen to my issue, and then had his assistant book an appointment asap. I have since had other reasons to go back to him and his attentiveness, knowledge and kindness is consistent and exceptional--and highly unusual. Wish all doctors were like him.

They are really nice people on top of being great Doctors. I wasn't very comfortable when I arrived for my 1st Colonoscopy but the Ladies at the Front quickly made me feel relaxed and glad I came. I wasn't handed a bunch of papers to fill out like some other Medical places do. Everything was nice and seamless and quick but not rushed. The staff were all extremely nice. He is so friendly and he's pretty good at remembering who you are so you don't feel like you're going to become just another patient in the crowd. His office is located a block away from Grand Central Station so it's pretty easy to get to him. The check in process was a bit confusing to me. I entered one office to check in and the was told to go to another office where I was being expected. When I walked into that office, they had no idea who I was and I had to repeat the process of answering check in question all over again. If Dr. Wolff schedules you for a procedure, it will likely be downtown at Liberty Endoscopy. His staff there is very efficient and on the ball with time management. After prep, Dr. Wolff comes in for a short but sincere chat on what will be happening, how you're feeling, and time to give answers to any questions you might have. The next time you see him, it will be in the OR and he explains everything to you again as well as make sure you are okay. I love that he is so genuine putting his patients first. He or his anesthesiologist will guide you into lullaby land as you drift off to oblivion. And then you wake up to find that everything is done. The Doc comes back to discuss his findings with you after you've had time to shake off the sleepiness. My Gastroenterologist is better than yours...lol.

I like going here because I feel confident in the diagnosis, Dr. Sorra is thorough, knowledgeable, experienced. The office is close to public transportation, the staff is calm and the office is whimsical and professional. I have been able to get appointments promptly and the wait time has always been reasonable. The staff is professional, articulate and helpful. Also, the doctor has capability to take your lab sample on site!!! Yes, the doctor will take your sample, and will send it in for you! Not only is it time saving, I liked that I was not handled by multiple people - just one doctor.
