I had the worst experience at this urgent care!…read moreI took my 8 year old in and the supervisor told me they would NOT treat my daughter, so I asked why not she told me I didn't have the right to bring my child to the urgent care. I asked for her name and I asked for paperwork or something showing me why I didn't have the right to bring my 8 year old to the urgent care so her response was to hide her name tag and tell me " if you don't leave we are calling the police"! She didn't offer me a phone number an email or anything for contact to answer any questions about why my 8 year old child is being denied treatment, they all went in the back and called the police. So the old blonde woman who said she was the supervisor tells the police there is a black man threatening her at the urgent care so of course they send not one but two cruisers out for me and my 8 year old. I DID NOT threaten anyone, I asked for the supervisors name and some paperwork or proof showing me I didn't have the right to bring my child to the doctor. So long story short I took my child to the ER for 5 hours and the good doctors there gave her oral and topical antibiotics for an infected leg. That supervisor was so nasty, rude and completely unprofessional I don't know why a person like her would work in a field that is suppose to help people.

I had to get important documents filled out for my child's daycare and needed them in order for my son to attend. Logan a staff member at the office listened to me, took the time to look for and gather the documents that we're ready and was polite and lovely to deal with the whole time. I appreciate this level of customer service because he was truly caring and trying to help me out and that's all we really want from someone at a medical office right? Although she gives the appearance of a well-meaning empathetic person, when she opens her mouth it's a different story. She berated me for allowing my daughter to lose too much weight after birth (she lost slightly more than a pound, but she was bloated at birth and I knew she was getting enough nutrition as she was nursing regularly). Dr. Walker insinuated that if I don't supplement with formula asap, I am putting my daughter at great risk. The SECOND visit, months later, Dr. Walker berated me for not feeding my daughter lots of solids at 10 months even though solids (fruits, veges) constipates her and/or causes rash. Both times she practically accused me of child abuse despite the fact that both my kids are glowing chunkers with minor issues now and then. Plus on the second visit, (after a 45 minute wait to see her), when I asked her to glance at my son's weiner (as I was wondering if he had the same strange rash as my daughter) she refused and said "we're not a walk-in clinic".
