We were staying in town and when I changed to go to dinner I realized I did not pack my pants for the memorial which was the following day. I called Garys roughly 30 minutes prior to their closing for the night and a nice associate answered, I wish I could remember his name because he was great! I explained my dilemma and I said I wear a 34 in a particular brand. He replied with, "no problem, I'll set aside two pairs of pants with your name. Be here at 10:00am and we can probably have our tailor hem them for you in no time!" You've got to be kidding was my thought! We headed to Gary's at 10:00am, the pants were laid out with my name and Todd was there ready to help. Todd was extremely helpful, got me fitted right away and helped with some other items that I didn't need but could live without! 20or so minutes later I had pants!!! I really don't know many places that can offer that sort of drop of the hat service; but Gary's did and I am very appreciative. Todd and Co. thank you for the great service! You have a beautiful store with an incredible selection of fine clothes.

OMG, the material was buttery soft (softer than Alo and Lululemon) and I loved the feel of them on my skin. I felt confident and they looked nice on me. I left with a pair of their AllTheForm Pocket Legging in Black for $118 and Energy Tee Long in Riviera Blue Heather for $58. It's such a cute color combo to wear together or to mix and match with other pieces. Since it was my first time, I got 20% off my first purchase. The Fashion Island store is impeccably decorated (apparently by Leanne Ford, one of the co-founders) and smells amazing because they're always burning palo santo sticks. They never do sales, sadly, but I guess on the bright side you never have a reason to wait to buy anything(!). Staff is always very friendly and helpful, though there seems to be a somewhat high turnover rate for whatever reason. I was surprised to see that - as of this writing - there were only a few reviews. And just a note about some of the one-star reviews: Not to target anyone personally, but if you are starting several of your Yelp reviews with "Racist!!!" maybe the problem isn't the stores? And if you are complaining in several of your Yelp reviews that "this location does not take cash" maybe you should get a credit card (especially if you can afford to drop $600 at Buck Mason)? FWIW I'm Asian and I've always been offered water here...

You definitely get what you pay for and there is a value there though most people might have sticker shock on their clothing, but you're also more likely to wear it. The manager for this location has been so kind and helped me out every time I come. If they don't have a shirt in my size, they'll order it from another location and I'll get it a few days later. The one thing I will say is most of their clothing runs smaller than other brands that I'm used to. I have many products where a 1X is the perfect size for me but a 2X is the norm, but their product requires me to buy it in a 3X. I am 6 foot five and about 250 pounds so it's hard harder to walk into a regular store and find my size but they have it there. Overall, they have a customer for life.
