So heads up, this is a long review, but I promise it's worth the read! We bought our house a year…read moreand a half ago. The back yard had been designed as a "zero scape" yard. If you're not familiar with that term, it basically means that that the entire yard is filled with stones/gravel instead of grass. This is a very popular yard design in very hot and dry states such as Arizona, but we live in Florida, so I wanted grass! As if having a yard made of rocks wasn't bad enough, there were also multiple flower beds that had just deteriorated over time and looked terrible. Trying to keep these beds weed free was a full time job and I quickly got tired of trying to stay on top of it. By the time we decided to find a company to completely redo the whole yard it was a total MESS! The rock was all uneven, and the flower beds looked more like weed gardens, or maybe more like a small jungle. This was going to be a huge job. I found Landscaping by Justin on Facebook and called him out to do an estimate. He showed up fully prepared. He measured the back yard and discussed different options with us. Once we decided exactly what we wanted to do, he took down the information and told us he'd get back to us with an estimate. Within the next couple of days we received the estimate. I was quite impressed with how professional he was with getting our estimate put together. It didn't take us long to decide that this was who we wanted to give us a new beautiful yard. He showed up each day right on time, very punctual! Our back yard has zero shade and it was so hot everyday he was here. This did not stop him from working hard everyday to ensure the yard came out better than what we could've even imagined. He kept us updated each step of the way. I cannot speak highly enough about Justin's work ethic and professionalism. After three days of hard work, Justin presented us with a beautiful back yard that we can finally be proud of. It came out perfect! I'm so happy with the end result and thankful to Justin! Palm branches laying on the roof, overgrown shrubs, weeds everywhere, debris still out there from the last hurricane / tropical storm... As I was thinking about this and pulling in to the 7/11 parking lot, I spotted a truck with a "Landscaping by Justin" sign on it. The truck looked well kept, and the gentleman getting out of the truck had clearly put in a hard day's work. I figured this is a sign if ever I saw one. I asked him for his card and called him a few days later. Justin stopped by the house that evening on his way home to see what I wanted done. He was there within a week and my house looks fabulous! I couldn't be more happy with the results of his efforts. He did exactly what he said he would do, and the house looks better than I thought it ever could. Bring in top soil to fill low area in yard and sod to cover new soil…read more Owner Kip came to see area and provided price for service. Price specified the amounts for soil and sod that were included. Felt price was reasonable and accepted. Amount of soil was good and they did do a good job with the fill in. However, sod was severely under-estimated by a pallet or two. They also didn't bring enough plywood to adequately cover and protect path to area to be filled from damage by small loading machine. Then, they wanted another $900 to finish the job by bringing in more sod plus (my request) another 2 yards of soil. As they underestimated the amount of sod needed, I would expect them to finish the job for just the cost of the additional material, but they wanted basically a complete separate job price instead. Bottom line: I don't think much of their business integrity.

The finished result turned out beautifully. The overall vision really came together and completely transformed the space. What I appreciated most was the quick responses when we had questions, changes and when a couple of items were missed during the process, they addressed and corrected them quickly and without issue. That says a lot about their professionalism and commitment to making things right. The crew worked hard, the design was well thought out, and we're very happy with how everything looks.
