1 Star I am writing…read morethis review to document professional concerns regarding treatment quality and clinical process based on my experience with Gordon Bailey, LMHC. A central issue affecting treatment outcomes was a lack of clinical neutrality and comprehensive assessment. In my experience, only one side of the situation was meaningfully explored, while my perspective was not given balanced consideration. Clinical judgments and interpretive conclusions were formed quickly, without sufficient clarification, contextual analysis, or a full assessment process. As a result, I felt prematurely labeled based on incomplete information. When I attempted to clarify or provide additional context, this did not lead to a meaningful reassessment of conclusions already reached. This limited the effectiveness of therapy and prevented a more accurate formulation of the underlying issues. The impact on treatment outcomes included: * Misaligned clinical formulation -- Conclusions were formed without a complete, multi-perspective assessment. * Compromised therapeutic neutrality -- Perceived alignment with one narrative affected trust and engagement. * Reduced treatment effectiveness -- Interventions were based on incomplete context, limiting progress. * Lack of clinical recalibration -- New information did not result in diagnostic or interpretive reassessment. In a mental health care context, treatment outcomes depend on balanced listening, comprehensive assessment, diagnostic humility, and iterative reassessment. When conclusions are reached prematurely and not revisited in light of new information, therapeutic effectiveness is significantly compromised. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Gordon Bailey, LMHC. Clients deserve clinically neutral assessment, careful formulation, and adaptive treatment planning to support meaningful therapeutic outcomes.

If you are looking for some one who has your best interest at heart, listens to what your needs are, is honest, and challenges you to find ways to be your best self, then Gordon is the one. He has allowed me the opportunity to make my own decisions without inserting his personal opinion into my life decisions, but rather empowers me to see all of the options I have to make the best decision for ME. Gordon has helped me cope with hardships and trauma from over 20 years ago. To say he is amazing and passionate about what he does, is an understatement. I am forever grateful for all that Gordon and has done and continues to do to help me.

I was under the impression that I would need to have surgery and had given up on the idea of anything but. Marci was able to turn this viewpoint around, she is a blend of professionalism and care that is rare to see in a PT or in the medical industry. She will know you by name, she will understand and remember your injury and she will be beside you (helping you but holding you accountable) every step of the way. It is without any reservation I recommend this to anybody for an injury needing PT.

She made me feel like an intrusion, assumed I had had counseling before, and was very rude. She just looked at me when I approached the desk. Finally I had to ask if I was in the right spot. "Well who are you here to see? Do you have an appointment?" "Yes, with Diana Lavancher." "Well what do you want?" "Um...to check in?" "Whats your name?" After I announced my name to her and the stranger sitting close by (HIPPA!!!), she said "well you don't check in here, 'you people' (she said that!) just go straight over there!" She pointed somewhat in the direction of Diana's office door and then stood up, pushed her chair out with her knees and walked away. I should think you would have someone with the slightest degree of sensitivity and certainly a drop of courtesy and politeness representing a place that deals with people who obviously have a need for neutral, objective understanding. She is, without a doubt, the exact reciprocal and perhaps could use a little counseling herself on how to address people in general more kindly, but particularly in this type of setting! Does she know I was coming in for therapy because of some devastating tragedy or severe depression or any number of symptoms that warrant me coming there in the first place? I had anxiety about my 1st ever therapy session in my life, I was there for a reason, and because of her, I almost ran out the door. If Diana hadn't opened her door and greeted me warmly, that's exactly what I would have done. She does not belong in a patient care environment.
