I was just about to give up then cancel any and all future appointments for any doctor including Dr. Goldfarb. I'm glad I didn't cancel hers; it was the appointment that was the soonest in my waiting period for any others I was to see. Her team of nurses made me laugh and reminded me what laughter was because I have been depressed knowing my body has been falling apart over time. Other doctors just treat the symptoms and not the actual problem that's causing the symptoms. No doctor or nurse ever bothered to ask, "How are you feeling, tell me everything". Both Dr. Goldfarb's team and herself asked me this. The tears and overwhelming emotion came over me while talking to Dr. Goldfarb and her team because no one bothered to listen to me let alone ask me this. Previous doctors were quick to get me out in minutes while running the same CBC & Iron blood test panels as if that would actually tell them anything. Then bill me $500 for them saying "idk" give me Psych referrals, then gaslight me. They would just give the same, "Exercise and drink water, you'll be fine; you're young". Right. Cause I hadn't thought of that or been told that by 4 other doctors before. I explained to Dr. Goldfarb my symptoms and more. I asked her if she could run a test for my hormones as I knew it had to be something, something someone missed. She agreed then mentioned my liver had some elevated levels too and that she wanted to do more testing on this. She listened. She did patient and family history to make sure she was thorough, asked me personal in depth questions about me and when life changed for me health wise, she understands how CPTSD can cause symptoms not only in the brain - but the rest of the body; creating health issues that can be missed. Dr. Goldfarb is very knowledgeable in body & mind being connected. I have chosen to stick with her because I can tell you that the health system is absolute trash and to find a great doctor is like finding a needle in a haystack. Really. Other doctors don't care about their patients and honestly believe people are faking it. Choose Dr. Goldfarb & her team, they are: Compassionate. Kind. Great listeners. Attentive. Thorough. Knowledgeable. Patient. Intelligent.

My primary care physician is Dr. Jessica Kennedy and I can't say enough positive things about her. She's knowledgeable, listens carefully to my concerns, and either has the answer or refers me to an excellent specialist. I'm also very happy with Dr. Mark Romanelli, a dermatologist who does annual skin exams and recommends great products to ensure healthy skin. I've also had positive experiences with the other doctors I've seen at this location, like Dr. Vasiloff, who I saw once at short notice when I wasn't feeling well. It's important to find a team that will help you stay healthy, I definitely recommend Dr. Kennedy, Dr. Romanelli, and this NW Physicians Group.

I've been tolerating the general incompetence of doctors in this office for ten years, but it's much more difficult to deal with blatant rudeness. As a separate issue, Dr. Patricio is awful about sending prescriptions on time. Some of my medications need to be taken daily, yet Dr. Patricio shows no sense of urgency when sending refills to the pharmacy. A couple of months ago, she was 6 days late sending a prescription to the pharmacy--that was 6 days that I didn't have important medication that I take daily. Despite calling multiple times every day, it took 6 days for her to finally send it. Her behavior is borderline malpractice.

We have been dealing with Michelle, who is very rude and not very helpful at all. My father is trying to get on the kidney transplant list for some time now and Michelle has been giving us incorrect information about my father's insurance. We needed a referral for a cardiologist to complete my dad's transplant list of requirements and Michelle claims she is not able to give the referral. She claims it is all out of "Advocates network", made my dad change his kidney doctor after having had the same one for years. So this whole process has delayed my dad into getting on the transplant list for a whole year. Finally, after speaking with my dad's insurance, I found out that they actually approved the services rendered and the kidney doctor that Michelle advised is out of network is actually in network!!! All of this has made me come to the realization that Michelle does not know what the hell she is talking about and should be FIRED! This has caused my dad some precious time and if something happens to him, her ass is on the line. I even spoke to the kidney doctors that have tried to talk to this Michelle to get to the bottom of the situation and they advised me that she was rude and disrespectful to them as well. Why she is the office manager, I have no clue. I am still getting to the bottom of the situation but if she answers your phone call, expect to get SCREWED.

My coworker told me this story, and we both agree: Dr. Betman is the kind of life-changing doctor you want in your corner for life. A few other things I appreciate: she takes many insurance plans, is a women's health expert, teaches at Northwestern University, and refers out to excellent specialists (who also work with a wide range of insurance). Unlike most doctors, she takes the time to answer every question and treats every concern seriously. Over the years she genuinely gets to know you and cares about you -- almost like the small-town doctor you'd see in a movie. I was told that microneedling and prp would help reduce the stretch mark, I decided to go for it. It all went downhill from here. I came in for my appt. after work and they were running behind, I waited for almost an hour, fine with me. Then I was finally taken in the room and I showed her which areas I wanted to get done and she proceeded to tell me "oh that's a big area, I won't be able to get everything done today, can you come back tomorrow for the rest?" I said that's fine. Then we proceeded to get my blood drawn and she added numbing cream to the area but of course.... she was running out of numbing cream so she barely put any. She leaves the room while we wait for the numbing cream to kick in but then I waited for almost an hour cause she was still trying to take care of another patient, she kept apologizing and kept saying she doesn't understand why the front desk only books for X amount of time for these kind of session. When she finally came back to do the microneedling, she warned me it was going to be prickling... fine but then she also kept going over the same area because she wanted "to go deeper to get the most out of it"... I was in pain but I held it in because I trusted her.... she kept going over the area MULTIPLE TIMES!!!! I left there in so much pain and couldn't shower for days... I paid a pretty good amount for the session, came back the following day to another esthetician and paid for "another session" even though my first session wasn't done. I told the front desk but I didn't want to argue with them and was just glad that something can be done with the stretch mark. The second session was much less invasive and the healing process took no more than 3 days. The first session was still no where close to healing after 3 days... all in all it took almost a month for it heal. It took almost a whole week before I could shower normally and tolerate the pain from the wound. I was told that I would need a series of this process and should wait 4-6 weeks to come back. I was also told the healing process would take no longer than a week... true for the second session but completely false for the first session. For almost the entire month I was in pain but I thought it was normal because she had done it deeper, nor did she tell me to put anything on it to help with the healing process. Fast forward to 6-8 weeks later, I started getting hyperpigmentation... it was done wayyyy to deep that it damaged my skin. I called them and sent them pictures about it and I was told... "it may have been because I was stress" I ended up going to another place asking about it and the doctor told me that they should have been more careful as this area is sensitive and that they had damaged my skin due to the fact that they went too deep. I was given a hyperpigmentation bar to use and a cream to help with this but I've been even more self conscious about my legs than I ever was before. It's summer and I've not worn shorts or any type of clothing that would show my legs... I tried to come back but my schedule was getting pretty hectic and then when I was finally able to make an appointment it got rescheduled because the doctor was going to be out at which point I just gave up because I don't think they would have been able to help me, I was really curious to see what they would have said but I don't think they would have done anything.. they were no where near apologetic about what happened nor where they trying to help out. Now I'm down almost $600 only to leave with even worse feeling than before. Long story short, don't come here to get anything done for your skin otherwise you'll just walk away with worse skin than before and $$$ money short. Worst money I've ever spent!!!!!!!!!! I regret ever coming here.

I decided to come here for the first time for a consult of IUD replacement options, and was comfortable enough during the consult to go ahead with a full general exam/pap smear, and Dr.King even offered comprehensive bloodwork to be done as I had some concerns. He was extremely professional, compassionate, listened to every concern I had and addressed every thing I was worried about. He mentioned things I hadn't even heard of other clinics doing like performing an ultrasound during the IUD insertion so they can see it being inserted properly, as well as anesthetic options. Dr. King gave me a few options to choose from for replacement/pain management and I'm so grateful to have gone to him. He made sure that I asked every question I can think of, and I really felt heard. Women's health care should be a much bigger priority when we are discussing pain management, long-term care, and making sure that patients feel comfortable enough to go back to maintain health. I felt like this office and Dr.King really care for their patients, and the Office Manager also came to check in with me to make sure if there was anything else they can do to make my visit more pleasant, and also gave me detailed information about costs that I had requested. I made an appointment for my IUD replacement, and I have already recommended this place to a couple others. I saw that the other negative reviews were mostly about not being vaccinated/boostered for COVID. I am grateful that this clinic prioritizes their staff and patient's health and was even more of a green flag. Everyone was mindful, polite, and made my experience comfortable
