We bought both furnace and AC units from them, and they had never steered us wrong. Last summer we bought a new AC unit based on Alec's suggestion and at the time found him to be honest & knowledgable in the process. Alec also suggested Lennox's new iHarmony zoning thermostat of which now after researching we paid way too much (we were charged $3K+ and it costs approximately $387 online). After installation we returned home from being out of town to an above 80-degree house to later learn the new thermostat had been programmed wrong upon installation. They did come right away on a weekend & made some temporary changes to get the house cooled down. The heat continued for days after that. Alec couldn't figure it out and turned it over to Ronnie. Ronnie tried to fix it (meanwhile we were still battling the July heat) and told us to stay in touch via phone. That was the last time a text or call was answered and were unwilling to call Lennox support to fix the problem. We finally had to go through a painful 1+ hour support call ourselves to learn the zones had not been set up correctly upon installation. Correcting the thermostat fixed the problem immediately. Never heard from Absolute Comfort again, and we chose not to pursue any longer. We felt like taking our money was priority this time around, not customer satisfaction. That was a dealbreaker for us.

I was told my appointment was his first stop on the scheduled day but he never showed up. I called after he was more than an hour late. The woman that answered the phone said she'd call the electrician and get back to me. Twenty minutes later she called and said "he dropped the ball". Yes, he certainly did. They were responsive on Yelp with Request-A-Quote, and while a notch higher than some others, I figured what the hell. They could have someone out same day and the reviews looked great. The tech was later than expected (4-6 p.m. window and arrived closer to 6:30) which wasn't ideal as we had sat down to dinner. Fortunately the job was small and he was quick to handle it. To me it's a lot like calling a plumber; it's going to cost you, but you know it's going to be done right. Galvin seemed professional in how they booked and assigned the electrician. Not every service company can say the same. Hopefully won't need them again, like, ever, but if so I would recommend them and go with them again.

He quoted a 6-3 wire and 50 amp breaker, and that's what he invoiced as well. It turns out he actually installed a 8-3 wire and 60 amp breaker. This violates building code (verified with city of Overland Park) and is a fire hazard. It also is a cheaper wire and doesn't provide as much amperage as the 6-3 wire. We've made multiple attempts to contact them to give them a chance to correct their work--and actually install what they charged us for-- before we report them to the city. Mario took my call one time and was quite rude. He tried to claim that it's fine because it works and then hung up on me. (That's like saying it's ok to give me a cubic zirconia when he quoted and charged me for a diamond.) They won't return our calls on any of their numbers. Be aware also that they are no longer licensed in Johnson County. (He was when we hired him but it has since expired.

Was told by Roberto he would get the ball rolling because it was an emergency, approved the estimate within 10 minutes. Not a word from them a week later. Even called looking for an eta, information anything. So Monday, 10 days after incident, called someone else local. They came out same day for an estimate, literally 8am the next day to do the job. For 600 dollars less and replaced an old wire on top of that. While Tuesday afternoon I never did receive a call from Jeremy, but I did call and cancel. So while Jeremy Electrical I might call to update a system, replace outlets, or such jobs. Would not call again for an emergency. Edit: 100% hit accept on the estimate from the link in E-mail as soon as Roberto left, called next day to confirm it was approved though. Was not once called by Jeremy electrical, but sure cares enough about Yelp comments to reply literally 2 minutes after it was posted though.

Been in this house 9 months and the previous owner did everything DIY. The drain from the sink to the basement was not correct after due to an oversize sink being installed and properly aligned(previous owner). Tim and Scott installed a new drain, repositioned the garbage disposal and new pvc, tubing, etc. They were very professional, personable and explained everything in layman's terms. Very fair pricing. Here's my response to the attempt of justifications below: I've found other companies willing to complete the job for LESS THAN HALF as much, and they were willing to be transparent and provide their hourly rate and material costs separately. You can try to butter up the readers with details in your story, but this was a simple job requiring 2 holes from the attic, where the detectors would go. A 3rd hole leading outside from the attic since wiring was required from the attic to the garage and it did have to go from the exterior of the house (in a conduit). And last thing, from inside the garage into the room (basement) they're both on the same level and a common wall between the garage and this basement room is shared. You have my number, give me a call and we can discuss it more on the phone if you have any confusions about the job. But be honest with the people, you have been in business 20+ years? I don't know how, but do your best to be honest!
