Jorge started off really well, we even referred him to our neighbor. Unfortunately, our patience…read moreeventually wore thin. Though we paid up front for much of the work, the only way we could get him back to our property was to offer other landscaping projects. He continually made promises to complete the work in a few days, which turned into week after week of him not showing up. At one point, we paid for a piece of rental equipment to ensure he could finish the work he promised to complete. He used those funds to purchase equipment, but then texted that he was "out of the game until further notice" and that we should "call someone else" to complete the work. We all reap the fruit of the seeds we sow. Jorge sowed a lot of lies, so in the end, we did not trust anything he said. We originally were a 5 star review with intent to give him much more work, we changed our review because we don't want others to fall for his lies.

It did not leak "most of the time" through the summer, however after the snowmelts of the second winter following the initial roofing, it LEAKED again. Same old story: many phone calls later he showed up and "patched" it again. Guess What?? third winter, same story. Leaks. We tried a few calls to him AGAIN, and finally gave up. We now set out pans to catch the leaks, and have, for the last eight years. Sheesh, what an incompetent service. This summer, I guess that I am going to have to fix it myself. If you reside in Trinidad and need a major appliance repaired, you are stuck with this business,…read moreunless a new business has become available since I posted the review. Joe is pleasant enough and competent but this is one of the most mercenary businesses I have done business with. Just to make a diagnostic appointment, it is necessary to pre-pay $112.00. After payment is received then they will make an appointment for a service call. Then you discover they added $25.00 fee on to your pre-payment for using a credit card. After a 15 minute service call, we were advised parts would need to be ordered. Must wait while they research part availability and cost. Then we received a text messsge advising the amount of the parts, the shipping and the tax. Again, payment must be made prior to the order for the parts and you will find another $25.00 charge for using a credit card. We waited over 2 weeks until we were advised that the parts had arrived so then another service call appointment had to be made. After the parts were installed we were advised the parts had a one year warranty but the labor was warrantied for only 30 days. They NEVER answer their business phone. If you try to leave a message, you are advised their voice mailbox is full. We only communicated by text messages. This equated to us having a dysfunctional appliance for 3 1/2 weeks. Having the part numbers available, I researched the retail price of the parts. I learned, I could have ordered the parts myself for less than 1/2 of what I was charged. That means, Joe buys the parts at wholesale price, then doubles the retail price, adds his credit card use fee, plus shipping and then adds tax for Trinidad. Never mind I live outside the city limits and do not receive Trinidad services, yet I was charged Trinidad sales tax. Unfortunately I no longer have the dexterity or strength to do-it-myself. For future reference, should I need appliance services in the future, I will seek service from Raton New Mexico or Pueblo Colorado even though it will probably mean additional travel distance fees. If you need appliance repair in Trinidad, I do feel sorry for you - you are going to pay. I am satisfied with the performance of the appliance post repair.
