He gave me different types of sink per my specifications and he chose the perfect color per my pictures of the countertop. the sink arrived and Joe scheduled me in and WOW my new sink was installed and I am over the moon. Joe even repair the poor plumbing configuration (that was on the inspection report). Wonderful work.

I asked if he needed to come out and measure and he said no, he was familiar with my existing sink. We discussed top mount vs undermount and the emails clearly show that we opted for the undermount. The sink and stopper arrived and Joe scheduled the installation for 9/26/23. His installer (Joe) arrived and was very nice. He started unloading tools and then measuring. He advised me that he would need to cut the granite and in order to accomodate the faucet and soap dispenser. That would leave "HALF MOON" sized peices of granite that he would need to epoxy to put back together that would be visible to the eye. He would attempt to color match the granite with no guarantees. The granite was only 18 months old and we said that we did not want that option. He said he could top mount it so I called my wife down to discuss. Meanwhile he is in the kitchen waiting for us to decide on the spot. I made my personal desire clear that I wanted undermount from the start but my wife gave in to the pressure and said being that he was here and ready to install the sink, we could "LIVE WITH" top mounting option. Joe opened the granite hole, installed the sink and here we are.. I am personally not happy with how this all went. I gave in to the wife but we should have NEVER BEEN PLACED IN THAT POSITION. Now I have to live with the outcome. Joe should have slowed down, come out and measured properly so we could have the sink and the install that we discussed with no suprises. I paid full price $2800 and lesson learned. Do NOT ALLOW HIM TO RUSH YOU and do not proceed and settle for anything less than discussed. So now we have a sing that we actually hate! We even miss our old stainless sink and we will have to replace the granite if we ever want another undermount sink to replace this one. Tough luck for us sadly. Cannot recommend this process unfortunately. Best of luck...

We had a positive customer quality experience with Anthony and his staff, Chris…read more They were extremely detail oriented and thorough, repaired all damages, painted, and textured in an amazing amount of time, and on very short notice! We are going to offer our home for sale so, they made it more attractive and looking ready to sell! They provided more than painting and can handle most anything it seems. We have now recommended them to five other people, friends and family. The only negative comment is that we found them after living here nearly 20 years and wish we'd have hired/met them sooner! A rare gem!

Drywall work can be very messy/dusty, but not only did they tarp off all of the furniture in the room, each night they finished they cleaned up every spec of dust. They did an incredible job repairing our wall that got water damaged from a leaking A/C air handler in the attic. Not only did they have to tear out drywall and kill mold in the wall and replace the drywall, they also had to match the texture we have on all of the walls of our house. The final price ended up being more than the initial estimate, but Anthony said right up front if there was mold it would be a bigger and more costly job. I still think it was a good value for the amount of work, their respectfulness, and the way the cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend Anthony for any carpentry/drywall job and will be calling him back for our next job.

Absolutely do not recommend Grandfather's Son handyman services. Great reviews on ND so thought I…read morewould give him a try to add another handyman to our vendor list. Costly mistake. Hired him to replace door sweep on pool cage door. His plan was to Gorilla Glue a split sweep back together...I said it wouldn't hold, and it didn't. While waiting on glue to set (which it never did!) he tried to replace a washer in a faucet that had a slow leak. Promised me he would be extra careful to not scratch the nickel faucet handle. Once he discovered it was a cartridge washer needing replacement, he didn't share that he didn't know how to do it but proceeded to clean the existing cartridge with vinegar to "remove mineral buildup" to reuse it. When asked why he didn't simply state his lack of knowledge in this area, he said he was "figuring it out". Also noticed he had a YouTube video going to help him. I told him to stop working as it was obvious he didn't know how to complete the task. He tried to reinstall the handle and turned on the water only to have a gusher of water spray all over the walls, mirror, artwork, a fabric bench, the floor, and more - 100% disaster. I told him to shut the water off and to leave. Two hours and neither task was completed plus I spent an hour cleaning up the water mess and assessing the damage caused. AND, upon inspection, he seriously scratched the nickel faucet handle now requiring replacement. What a disaster this entire experience became. Do not recommend him at all. Didn't ask me to pay him....he owes me $ for the damage created! Plumber coming to finish faucet job and another handyman used before coming to replace door sweep tomorrow. So frustrating!
