Went there today to get something for our new home in Waco, and for something to send my adopted Grandma in Hope MN. The quality and craftsmanship is outstanding! Can't believe no one has reviewed Jimmy Don's store! It was our last stop today after breakfast at Magnolia Table (great food!), shopping at Magnolia Market (crowded but pretty cool), then visiting Harp Designs (surprisingly limited in what's available). It's a bit of a drive to get out to JDH designs, but it was our favorite. The various designs of available iron work are varied and terrific, and we ended up buying 3 signs for our walls that are particularly meaningful to us. There's also a little viewing room where you can watch what's going on in the shop. Best of all, just as we were leaving Jimmy Don showed up to greet guests and pose for pics. Please, make the trip past Crawford to his place; you'll be glad you did! read more

Tried to place an order through the website and got a quick response to confirm my request. After that I waited about 3 weeks and did not receive any answers to my emails. I called directly to JDH Iron Designs and talked to what seemed to be a real helpful person that said they'd follow up and get my order placed. I'm still waiting 2 months later, I've given up on JDH Iron Designs. I guess he doesn't need the work. read more
