One of the biggest factors in choosing Alycia was her genuine interest to work with us. She quickly provided a quote through Yelp, was on top of setting up a meaningful phone consult, and was fully prepared at all times. She had the best hourly rate and fewest additional "stipulations or criteria"- flexible, open to pretty much any setting, didn't charge me to change into a new outfit, etc. I think her genuine dedication to her craft is also best epitomized by her photo count policy. Rather than a set number of pics provided (which seems to be a common structure), she generously shares all of the best pics she captures in the quoted time frame. This speaks volumes to me from a business ethics standpoint, and it assured me from the beginning that we would be working with an open and honest professional. We did an hour shoot in Red Rock Canyon in the early morning on a weekday and it's like we almost had the park to ourselves. Taylor has never done professional photos, and it has been at least 10 years for me, but she was able to make the setting feel so natural and effortless. She gave us just enough guidance and direction to produce great shots without looking stiff or stodgy. Even in the eleventh hour, she saw a spot to hop out a snap a few more; when they weren't precisely what she wanted, she honestly and generously said "let's get a couple more" when she was already going above and beyond.
