Last night, my MIL called a " big name" plumbing company in an emergency situation and after 10 minute of snaking the drain, we were told that she had a collapse pipe and that she would need to dig up her yard and possibly part of her home in order to repair it. My mother-in-law was beside herself in tears and the fear that she was gonna have to spend 10k+ in repairs. I had used reliable sewer and drain in the past for my own home and knew that I needed to get a second opinion from him! I called him first thing in the morning, and he came out early afternoon same day! Within minutes, he was able to give us the wonderful news that we did not have a collapsed pipe and that it was just a bunch of tiny roots. He put the toilet back on for us and got her all back up and running! He also noticed that our shower drain wasn't right! It had always been stuck half way since we moved in over a year ago but my MIL never thought to really fix it! He took a look and fixed it quickly! My roof was having some issues after a wind and hailstorm this summer and I started to get bids to replace it. Jesse gave me a bid that was in the middle of the pack. Jesse of Sisk Roofing have been recommended to me by someone in Kokomo. After I reviewed his initial bid and contacted him to discuss it, he decided to take a second look at the roof before talking to me. Upon closer inspection, he determined only part of the roof needed to be replaced and that he would stand behind his work for 10 years on a job where he was roofing over a single existing layer. His roofing work ended up costing me over $7000 less than his original price. Obviously, Jesse is an honest man, who relies upon his reputation for his business. He understood my situation as a long-distance landlord and when I asked him for other referrals, he was a great resource. I now have peace of mind if any other issues come up with my property. I needed also to have insulation in the attic, according to my tenants and one handyman I had hired. Jesse pulled off every roof vent and determined that the entire attic was already adequately insulated. Who knows how much that saved me! And then he found me someone to put on a gutter. Not only is he honest but he stands by his word. A contractor who was going to do some other work under Jesse for me, didn't get me a bid when he had promised Jesse. Jesse told him he'd never refer to him again. So I know keeping one's word is important in the eyes of Jesse Sisk. I am grateful to find an honest professional!
