I love the store, it's so nice to be in a shopping environment where the biggest men's pants size isn't a 38. They've got great selection from name brands, and their in-house brand which is much cheaper but still of nice quality. The clearance section is always filled with good things to look at. Close to settlers Ridge, and it's really a store for big people, not fat people, but big people. I'm 6 foot 6, the perfect place for me to shop.

This store also has an Ulta beauty section, a pharmacy, and other amenities. Prices are low to moderate. For years, I have occasionally shopped here for daily household essentials. During my most recent visit, a couple of products that I needed, such as over-the-counter medications, were out of stock, so I could do only some of my shopping here. I ended up purchasing the remaining products later through Target's website. I appreciated that I found many travel-sized hygiene and beauty products for an upcoming vacation. I also found some cat food that my cats will enjoy. At the checkout, I waited in line for a short time. The cashier quickly scanned and bagged my merchandise, accurately charged me, and politely thanked me.

Having a bit of a problem with an employee in your Washington PA Tanger Outlet location. Karen, the…read morestore manager, makes shopping at that location extremely uncomfortable with both her unfriendly disposition and ad hoc credit card policies. My wife and I both feel like she follows us around the store after we politely decline an offer of help. When we check out using the card reader that faces the customer(which is designed specifically so my card doesn't leave my possession), she always asks to see our credit card, even after we present our PLATINUM MEMBERSHIP card(which she coincidentally forgets to scan so we lose our points, so we've called customer service with our past two receipts to have them manually credit the points to our account). She then asks for ID, which I understand once in awhile is ok, but every time I shop there, it's the same story(and I've watched her ring other customers up without checking signatures on credit cards or ID'ing, so why me? Is it because of my accent?). MY WIFE AND I SHOP THERE ABOUT TWICE A MONTH AND EVERY OTHER EMPLOYEE OTHER THAN KAREN IS FRIENDLY AND RINGS ME UP WITHOUT A HASSLE. After my wife complained to me about how uncomfortable Karen made us feel last time, I got Robin, the regional manager, on the phone and asked for clarification on store policy and an apology. Karen called today and gave the most insincere apology I've ever heard(it was more a slap in the face than a conversation to clear things up) and cited her level of discomfort calling me since no customer has ever complained about her before. Her ID and card policy is something she only does because someone stole her credit card, not a store or company policy she said. I ended the conversation after it was apparent she didn't empathize with my position as she saw my issue as a mark on her perfect record

At the checkout counter, the cashier was also very nice. The hand soaps were on sale, but I still paid a total of $20 plus tax for four bottles. Of course, other stores sell hand soaps that cost less, but I like the fruity scents that I picked out.
