I wasted over a month of my time, and $250 dealing with Calhoun. When I contacted them, because…read morethey had been who the previous owner had used to our saltwater pool, I told them I didn't known anything about pools, and I wanted to make sure that them coming out would be setting up the pool to be ready to go, and was assured on the phone it would be, and they could do a pool school to teach me about it. Trying to get the guy to come out was difficult, and he kept saying I didn't need to be there for him to do it, so he came when I wasn't here, but apparently that was just to turn things on, that $250 wasn't for any chemicals, water testing, adding salt, etc. I get that must have been a miscommunication that I didn't ask specifically if the version of "setting up the pool to be ready to go" they had was what I had, but I has assumed they would have said something when I told them I wanted it to be ready for swimming when they were done. I get that they weren't going to clean it, but I assumed for $250 that they would have done the chemicals part. He came back out after weeks of me having to go in twice, plus sending a list of dozens of days I would be home to be able to be shown how to do it, which was read (I have receipt) and then ignored. I finally had to talk to the manager to get him to come back, and tell me he couldn't do anything else, and he tried to explain everything extremely fast and I ended up just being more confused. He said I should have called someone who did maintenance on pools (which I thought was them) but was really rude about the fact that they all have waiting lists so why bother. I feel scammed out of money, the communication was awful, and they are not clear on what they do when you sign up. Their bill has one line, and no details. They make you feel you are stupid for not knowing how to take care of a pool, as if this isn't what their job is for. I will never use them again, and I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you need anything for a pool.
