BUYER BEWARE Less…read morethan a week after I had gutters installed by Iron Horse of Syracuse in January 2021, leakage problems had to be fixed at two separate sections. Again this year, in the exact same two spots, the same problem: the leakage resumed. Last year one of the owners (Ben) first insisted that it was a roofing problem, but when the other owner (Eric) came with him after I pressed the issue, one section was replaced. The other section was sealed. The moral of the story? Despite the same problems, in the same two sections, video, audio, still pics and all ... again, the co-owner (Ben) blames the roof--even when two separate Syracuse roofing company assessments say otherwise. My guess is that he's likely telling the same line to other customers, which is why I'm posting this review. Videos and pictures, thankfully, clearly show what I consider to be the shoddy work of this company. Specifically and importantly, they show the roof edge is intact along the entire edge. More to the point, they show the huge gap between the soffit and the gutter that was installed in January 2021 by Iron Horse. Pictures do not lie. My conversation with the same co-owner today (Ben) made abundantly clear that he could care less. Initially he offered a refund when he thought I was buying his roofing story, until I called his bluff and said 'yes.' Then, his story changed. Again. If you can avoid this company, please do. You will almost surely save yourself a headache that's hardly worth their lower pricing and quick (shoddy) work. I'll post an update once I get these sections replaced by another gutter company that doesn't operate 'in the gutter.' I'm guessing that a lot of the 5-star reviews from "customers" that have posted only 1 review are likely fake. That should tell you all that you need to know. Or, maybe it's just that every customer won't get the same 5-star service as the other "customers" here.

I received a call before the appointment and heard two things that suggested they weren't the right company for me. First, during the phone call I was encouraged to read the material they'd sent me in the mail describing in detail the specific services they offered. That was a red flag for me because we had not yet established what specific service would be the best solution for my specific need. In fact, during the visit, the Woodford person ended up proposing a contract for a service that did not match the pre-printed material they'd wanted me to read. In other words, the company was initially focused on specific solutions before they had determined the problem. Second, during the call the 5% discount for same-day signing of the contract at the time of the visit was mentioned. That was also a red flag for me because it indicated that they didn't want the kind of customer who evaluates multiple options and then selects the best fit. During the visit, the Woodford person made it clear that he was not familiar with the three or four sentences I had written at the Woodford web site to describe my problem in the first place. That seemed to indicate a basic flaw in the operation of the business. I would be wary of this company.
