I was suckered into buying a pair of Nine West shoes less than a week ago for New Year's. The shoe on display clearly had a '$129 only' red sticker which my sales clerk took out before going into the room to get the shoe box. I was in a hurry and didn't have time to scrutinize the receipt after she said she has already applied the discount. I also later found out that the exact same pair is on sale for $104 on ninewest.com. Fast forward to today when I tried to get a $20 refund. The first employee I talked to came on really strong in her "But you used these shoes" surly remark that was meant to intimidate me. I wasn't and got to the point where the only way to deal with them was to yell to be heard out. They refused to listen and just insisted I was making the discount up. I like supporting smaller businesses but these people are the worst. Never buy anything from them, they don't deserve your money and claim to have a 30-day warranty on their shoes but attack you when you try to sort something out with them.
