Excellent! A professional electrician on the peninsula…read more We recently needed a minor electrical job done. Didn't want to call any of the locals, so my wife said, "Hey, there's a new sign out on Sandridge at Pioneer. Coastal Electric or something." So I drove out there, snapped a picture of the sign and called. Someone answered! Yeah, I know, a local contractor or business actually answered the phone? Hard to believe, but it happened! This was on a Monday. Terry was very personable, listened to my problem and said, "Yeah, I'll be in the area Wednesday. How about first thing? Does 9 AM sound good?" I responded, "Great." If you've lived on the peninsula for any amount of time, you won't believe what happened next. Terry showed up promptly at 9 AM Wednesday! He assessed the issue, identified the repair, went out to his van for parts, and had the lighting issue up and running in 15, maybe 20 minutes. Terry is professional, prompt, answers the phone, shows up on time and gets the job done efficiently. What more could you ask for? Call Coastal Current Electric first! He's new in the area, but he's got more than 30 years experience. Thanks again, Terry!

Overpromised called, NEVER called after driving off with $5065. deposit…read more 3 months later I have been trying to track him down, was told to stop harassing him (I called exactly TWICE in 3 months) . Lots of excuses. He had promised October, its now December and he now says "Maybe next year" Still has my deposit, I expected the house to be sealed up by winter, not looking good. No updates , just lots of excuses, he never indicated there were 4 jobs ahead of me back on September 9. Honesty would have been nice. Is it reasonable to be told I have to wait til next year when he is sitting on my $5065 ? The weather has been outstanding but apparently he has taken on more than he can deliver and I'm left waiting. AND WAITING. No stars, nothing to evaluate.
