Upon arrival our shuttle driver helped take our food and drinks over to the pontoon where we met our driver for the pontoon for the few hours we were out. We drove to a side of the lake where it was extremely quiet and peaceful as we anchored down for a little bit and took out our donuts and other water devices. Our pontoon driver was awesome and interactive, taking professional photos for us and engaging in great conversation. People in TN sure are way more friendly than in other places! We got back to shore safely and overall had an incredible experience. Ain't nothing like a day on a lake! Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!

I put down a $100 deposit and received a confirmation email (and a reminder email a couple of days before the trip). Upon check in, the staff was very thorough & helpful. They brought a golf cart up the hill to help with our large cooler, unloaded all of our stuff into the boat & showed the "captain" everything he needed to know. They were also very helpful with unloading and instructions to park it so they could fill up on gas, etc. We tried tipping the older gentleman who was helping all the customers but he requested I give it to the high school boy who was driving the golf cart. Such nice people and all very appreciative of our business. We will be back for sure! The actual lake was so clean and gorgeous, very little traffic. It was the first time in my life I was comfortable swimming in a lake because I could see down at least 10 feet! This experience was all around excellent and we will be back soon to rent another boat and take it out for the day. (Also, the cost is about $100 less than in Nashville, depending on the boat, where the lakes are crowded and not clean) Couple of things I forgot: They also helped fit our 7 year old for a kids life jacket and opened up our personal tubes and inflated them for us, free of charge. Regrettably it seems that the number of members has far outpaced the acquisition of boats and it is no longer worth the money as it is nearly impossible to get a reservation. This was previously a good deal but now the joining fee is approximately $3,200 and monthly fees of higher than $500. It is probably a better idea now to get you and a friend to go buy a boat rather than join this club, as one will likely be unable to get on the water with the Nashville Boat Club in any reasonable fashion. I would not join this club as of now.

That's why companies such as the Nashville Boat Club are so perfect for those of us who love to boat but prefer the almost valet-like services of a rental company. With locations on Percy Priest, Old Hickory, and Center Hill Lakes (as well as lakes around the country!) the Nashville Boat Club is a perfect way to experience boating without the hassle of boating, if you will. They have excellent and knowledgeable staff to help train you on all the different boats in their fleets (pontoons, ski boats, fishing boats...all different types) as well as the different membership packages they offer. There is a one-time membership fee (paid only once and then BOOM you're a member for life) and then a monthly payment each month for 12 months with the option to renew or take a hiatus at the end of each year (without losing membership). All in all the cost is still loads cheaper than actually purchasing your own boat. Still expensive, just not as bad. And they provide all the water sport toys you could want, such as skis, wakeboards, tubes...they have quite the setup here. No matter the time of year you can take out a boat, so long as you reserved it, from hot summer days to chilly winter afternoons. It's a really fantastic company staffed with great people willing to explain all the different options they offer to members. If you are looking to get into boating or are a seasoned water baby, this is a great place to look if you're not necessarily in the market to purchase your own boat. I am more than happy with NBC and all it offers.

Once we could swim then houseboats were ok. I have always loved the drive to the lake the warm air with the windows down. The smell of water and fresh rain. The hills and valleys with the boat following behind. I always knew that we were in for an amazing days at the lake. The staff was always so welcoming and helpful we have had some injuries over the years that being 20! That they were able to help with getting to a ER and also watching that boat. There are so many different amenities that it's just the place to be. Sadly we moved to CA way to far to travel with a boat, but we always remember our time at the lake so much that college has sent me back to the east coast. I think that there will be a Dale Hollow trio here sooner then I though!
