I've never seen a deck built with joists that we're more than 16 inches on center. 3-Half a dozen? screws sticking out the east end of the deck 4-2 nice gouges in the deck 5- No step is present as we discussed. 6-The last decking board hangs about 4 inches or so off the deck on the north side and is even on the southside. The deck is out of square. If somebody puts their weight on that overhang it's libel to come off. I don't think that single face screw is going to cut it. The first part of the first Job was done fairly well. There has been a few flaws that have been pointed out to me but the polite, quiet demeanor and his early work drew us in. We have since found out that it is part of his method of operation. He did not pull off the three old roofs under the back side of the garage roof. He just roofed On top of that. We did not watch close enough to catch that he was cutting corners because the way he did the front side made us trust him. Our garage now leaks, heavily, in several Places. The old roof did not leak. The spouting was hung haphazardly. He was supposed to change a piece of would in a few places before hanging the spouting and he did not. He has supposed to paint before hanging the spouting and he did not. The spouting in my house looks comical. It isn't hung properly. Flexible pieces that should be used at the bottom to aim the draining water were used at the top!! On the back side of the garage he did not shingle the roof out as far as he should have. The gutters are about 3 inches from the garage so they do no good at all. When he hung the gutters and down spouts he was here about two hours. He was never reliable and I never knew if or when he would actually come. Concrete patio was poorly done. Concrete grades towards the house instead of away from the house as it should. Quality of surface shows that they did not know what they were doing. Steps to the house were poorly done and now have parts of the wood forms encased in the concrete steps. Edges in the steps are razor sharp and have already caused injury to one person. Expansion joints cut with concrete saw are not straight and in spots have multiple attempts made. The concrete is already chipped and pitted in areas less than a week after being poured. They damaged our outside water faucet along with having the concrete truck clean out in our drainage ditch which now has completely blocked the drainage pipe going under the driveway. Concrete debris was left throughout the yard which we will need to clean up before we can mow again. We have filed complaint with the Ohio Attorney General and strongly recommend that everyone avoid using this company. read more
