They scale workouts for each individual based on their current level of fitness and their ultimate goals. The coaches ensure that members have proper form for the exercises they are doing and are very encouraging for everyone to do as much as they can - as long as they just keep on moving. The owners are physicians and are very involved in all aspects of the training, ensuring that a safe and consistent program is followed. All of the members are friendly and welcoming. And for an extra $20/ fee you can get the access to their regular sauna, infrared sauna, steam room, massage room, and so many other neat extras. This gym is fully loaded with luxuries? And it's brand new only 2 weeks old! It has a grass area, and tons and tons of strength and cardio equipment. They have a kids play area if you have little ones, a movie theater, yeah I said that, a movie theater (never seen that at a gym before), they have classes, yoga, a juice bar with calorie counter juices and smoothies, and even a picketball court!! The front desk staff were friendly and informative about the gym, and it was very clean. I feel like I need to switch my gym membership! At the end of June, I called several times to cancel my membership, but each time I was told to call back because the manager wasn't available. In July, I finally had to go in person because every time I called, the manager was either unavailable or in a meeting. I even left my contact information for a callback and never received one. When I spoke with Jenna, she told me I would be charged for August, but if I provided proof that I had moved along with my new address, the August charge would be waived. I submitted the requested documentation that same day in July, including proof of my new address. Unfortunately, Genesis rejected my documentation, and I'm still being charged for August. I never missed a payment and my account was fully paid through July. This has been an extremely frustrating experience. The lack of communication, inconsistent information, and failure to honor what I was told has been very disappointing. I expected a much smoother cancellation process, especially after providing everything that was requested.
