Excellent classes and services- helpful teachers, and great times for being open…read more There have been new classes opening up, and through my time being with them and doing their classes, they've provided excellent customer service and a great atmosphere for multiple events- such as for doing tabletop board games, painting miniature pieces for the boardgames or for art, workshop for building items used in Live Action RolePlay events, and soon they're planning on taking extra days to take classmates on "field trips" to various gaming and social areas for swordfighting and performing stage acts and games for both adults and kids alike. I do wish there were more people going to these classes, however, as having minimal people doesn't exactly put out all the fun and excitement that could be had- the more there can be with us, the more events that can be done, and even more field trips that can be attained! I go here often, and I try to recommend it to anyone who's in acting, likes tabletop gaming, or is looking for something new to do rather than sit at home on friday nights or saturday nights, or any other weekday night available.

How many years will Gorman let this field go unattended? I understand there may be a lack of funding. Also, there is no microwaves available to students to have hot lunches. This is possibly due to state regulations. When will Gorman address this? No worries because on campus learning is completely optional. Furthermore, it seems that Gorman learning center is turning into a brick-and-mortar style school system which will perhaps develop into overpopulated classrooms if they keep letting students enroll. She humiliates the kids on the team if they miss a step in front of peers and makes it seem they were disrespectful when they respond . You pay a large amount of money for your kids to be on her competition team for your child not to be developed or trained properly. The worst is that there is no place to sit, which makes it difficult to see the dance performance. The benches are not accessible because parents block space by placing their children's shoes and backpacks on the benches which makes impossible to find a place to sit. (Shoes on a bench..... really?) The management could care less about maintaining order, children are allowed to run all over and they often fall down off the ramp located next to the step. The facility is poorly ventilated and panoply are allowed to block the 1 and only floor fan. To cancel you have to observe policy which is not made available for future reference.

This is so disappointing because this dance studio was the only one I could find near home, so I was hoping a little persistence would be worth the extra effort. While the front desk person was always kind it would have been nice to have a response even if it was just to say that they couldn't accommodate me. UPDATE: About two hours after posting this review I received a response from the studio to my earlier email advising that they had seen my review and that the owners were attending to personal matters and they would respond upon their return. Though no apology was offered, I was asked to update my review. If I could get a response just two hours after reviewing this studio, why couldn't I have received that very same response to any of my four previous inquiries? And second, an apology would have gone a long way and had one been offered, I likely would have wanted to work with them despite initially being ghosted, but it felt in poor taste that the studio only cared to respond because they wanted me to change my review. One extra star for that small bit of effort, but wow. I will not be supporting this business.
