Thanks to Yelpers that left earlier reviews for Chang's I called and came to them. They saw me the same day which was great because I had taken off the day from work. BEST part was I was actually able to leave my truck in capable hands. They did ALL the work contacting and working with my insurance company, AAA (who did an awesome job too). Simon and his crew kept me updated along the process. Happy to report the work was great and the calibrating of the truck sensors were perfect too. This photo was what I submitted when requesting a mobile repair quote, and the damage is centered…read moreon the reflector itself, along with dents above and below it. The repair quote I received did not specifically exclude the reflector repair, and it included a charge for "additional materials." Because of that, I reasonably believed the visible reflector damage was included as part of the repair. When I called the office before making the appointment, they didn't tell me that the reflector itself will not be fixed. When the technician arrived, he informed me that they could only repair the dents above and below the reflector, and that the damaged reflector itself was not included. When I called Bumper Buddies for clarification, I was told that because I, as the customer, did not specifically request reflector repair, it was not included in the quote even though the dents directly above and below the reflector were included. As a customer, I relied on professionals' expertise to evaluate the photos and provide an accurate estimate. If a major visible part of the damage was not included, that should have been communicated with the customer or clearly stated in the quote rather than assumed to be excluded. It's not unreasonable for customer to expect the communication of "hey, I see your reflector was also damaged, but we cannot fix the reflector itself, but we can fix the dent above and below it". The repair quote may have matched their internal interpretation of the estimate, but it did not match a customer's reasonable expectation based on the photos submitted. During my follow-up call with Nick, he repeatedly stated that it's a "communication error" and the quote did not include reflector replacement because I had not specifically requested it. That explanation raised even more concerns for me. As a customer, I relied on their expertise to identify and quote the visible damage shown in the photos. I should not be expected to name every individual damaged part or anticipate every technical detail in order to receive an accurate quote. If I had the professional knowledge to identify every repair item myself, I likely would not have needed their service in the first place. That is exactly why I turned to them for an estimate. Based on this experience, I would not feel confident on any future estimates from them unless every single item is spelled out in writing beforehand.

From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in good hands. Everyone, from the manager and owner to the front office staff, was friendly, professional, and made the entire process stress-free. Denise was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to work around my schedule since I work late hours, and she even offered to deliver my car 45 minutes away if I couldn't make it before closing. That's customer service you don't see very often. They also made returning my rental car incredibly easy by taking care of everything for me. Most importantly, the repair quality was outstanding. Not sure why there are so many positive reviews here, but my experience was beyond bad…read more My vehicle was brought here by the tow truck company because the primary one that my insurance recommended was closed during that hour. The car went through a teardown and was eventually considered a total loss, but their quote for the teardown was excessively higher than the average teardown cost and the insurance wasn't going to pay out that whole amount. There was some negotiation and it was able to be taken down, but during that entire period of a month, the collision center charged an excessive amount of storage fees ($500 per day) which was 100% higher than the high end of average. The insurance company refused to pay this amount and basically the vehicle was held hostage at the collision center, despite getting higher management involved as the insurance company was unable to negotiate. In addition, the insurance company did further investigation and found that there's been the same complains to the BAR for this collision center with similar excessive charging, and from my own investigation, the licensure of the collision center seems suspicious with it being opened, closed, reopened under a different name, etc. Do your own investigation before you go with this collision center so you don't have your vehicle held hostage.

Eric was the only one who was able to properly fix those problems and get the paint looking the way it should. The quality of his work really speaks for itself. After the initial job, I had a few additional things I wanted addressed, and Eric was incredibly patient and accommodating. He genuinely wanted me to be happy with the final result.
