ServPro came immediately, ripped out the carpet, cleaned up the mess, and set up several dryers and a dehumidifier in the room. They measured moisture levels over the course of the next few days and left only when everything was completely dry and ready for remediation. They communicated everything they were going to do, did it exactly as they had told us they would, and left everything clean as a whistle. all together, they did a super job! They moved a LARGE refrigerator through some tough hallways, down some stairs, and to their truck efficiently and with no scratches or damage to the house. They were both very nice guys who did a great job. They were very competitively priced and did such a good job that we gave them 20% more than their estimate. I would definitely recommend them again.

We were getting desperate when we reached Code Green Junk Removal. My sister and I had flown in…read morefrom across the country to start cleaning up our brother's townhouse to get it ready to sell. 2 weeks earlier, I'd booked another junk removal company to come out on a Saturday morning. They weren't returning my calls and didn't show up. Then they called and promised to come in 4 hours and knock $50 off. I'd already reached out to other junk removal companies - and Code Green responded in 5 minutes, so it was a no-brainer. They were at our door in under 2 hours. These guys at Code Green were amazing. They operate like a well-oiled machine - fast and efficient. They had 3 pickup loads packed up in 20 minutes. And, believe it or not, they were half the cost of the company that flaked out on us. In our case, they showed up with (I believe) an 18-foot open trailer pulled by a pickup. (Photo from the rear makes it look smaller.) This probably helped cut the time as it's fast to load. Fortunately, I happened to put clothes in their own bags, other bags and boxes were all paper. This is one way they cut costs, by recycling and donating everything possible. We're not done with cleaning out the townhouse, and we'll be using Code Green for all our future junk removal. I wouldn't dream of calling anyone else.

Then they stopped coming, with no notification or communication. I've called and texted MULTIPLE times and have yet to even get a reply. It's extremely unprofessional! Now I'm left with grass that is too tall for me to even use my yard until I can get another service to come mow it, and they're going to charge me extra because the grass is so tall. If only Code Green had TOLD me they wouldn't be able to mow anymore, I would be able to work around it. But they didn't so I'm stuck in this situation. AVOID their services at all costs.

Several years ago, Poole's did a great job on installing our front walk and portico, and for that…read morework, they deserve a much higher rating. The lowered stars are for their repeated unresponsiveness to our many calls and promises by them to provide estimates for additional stone work. This is especially galling because we are good customers and enjoyed a good relationship with Poole's, having spent several thousands of dollars on their work on our walk and portico. This is very unprofessional and personally disappointing. We've moved on to another company for our patio and other work.

Took a long time for the weather to cooperate to the point where my exterior house could be…read morepainted, but once they started, they did a great job! Earlier in the year I'd had them paint a couple of walls and a ceiling in one room inside, saw a missed spot and asked if they would touch it up when they came back to do the exterior, which they agreed to do. I thought that was nice, because I saw it (tucked away in a corner) after the 10 days or 2 weeks or whatever it is they actually give you to sign off. As it turned out, I'll probably just do it myself, it's basically one swipe of a brush, but it was still nice of them. The crew was very good, kept a clean worksite, was respectful of my neighbors' property, which is important to me. We had one "oops" with paint on my new roof but the PM came out himself and got it off, looks perfect. So I can't speak to how well it will wear, but I can say that as of right now, it looks really, really nice and I thought their price was fair. If I had to find one thing they could have done better it would be communicate. I didn't hear from anyone for SO long after I paid my deposit, and then, once the weather broke, I still didn't hear...evidently a miscommunication where I was waiting for a projected date and they were waiting for my colors. We had one other issue with one color not being available as an exterior paint and I had to pick another on the fly. Given that I agonized over colors for months, I'd have liked to have known about that earlier, but it worked out okay. I don't like it quite as much as the one I had first chosen, but I can live with it. So, great for the final job, workmanship, professionalism of the crew, timeliness of arrival and speed with which they worked. Maybe a half star off for communication, but not enough to change the rating.
