After being hired to rip down and replace drywall on the ceiling and walls of our dining room (15x15sq ft) Jay/Jesus has left us with a disaster area. They were hired on 3/18 and came out and demo'd the dining room and that was the last time we have seen him. If I could give zero I would. We hired Jay to do our remodel. At first, Jay and his crew did a good job on the main area of the home. Several months later we hired Jay's Drywall to finish our Master Bathroom and put a deposit down. After this, Jay would not show up, it was one excuse after the other. Now we are trying to get our deposit back, and it has been one excuse after the other. Now we must take him to court to get our deposit back. Please do NOT deal with him, terrible business practices. read more

We hired Jay in the beginning of December and paid several thousand dollars. We have not seen him at all since, and have barely heard from him, except the excuse every couple of weeks on why he cannot come and will need to reschedule. When we attempted to reach out for him to make this right, he refused to do so, and even became hostile and aggressive. I reached out to his girlfriend of 19 years that he shares a home and four children with, and she said he was off on a bender... direct quote. She said he had done this to multiple clients and that we should pursue him in court, because he was using our money on drugs and alcohol. Not to mention, when we looked it up, his business dissolved in 2022 and should absolutely not be operating at this time, according to Florida state statute. It is unfortunate that if he truly did have 20 years of commendable service, he is squalloring it away and going to end up with federal charges for tax evasion. We needed the garage ceiling drywall repaired. The original drywall was nailed up instead of screwed up. Jay's drywall did a great job repairing the bad panel, attaching all the drywall with screws, re-taping the joints, skimming and sanding. Great job Jesus. read more

In February of this year, I moved to Florida from Washington to a home that my husband and I purchased sight unseen. The photos online looked GREAT (as they always do on Zillow) but as soon as we walked into our new 'home sweet home' we realized it was a little more dated than we had initially hoped for - It had OLD sagging popcorn ceilings and a lot of work was needed on all of the walls as well. We were caught a bit off guard with all of this and needed this fixed fast so we could move in and start our new beginning here. That's when we called Jay's Drywall and set up a meeting with the owner Jay. He came into our home to meet with us and immediately pointed out ALL of the flaws on the walls and ceiling and even recommended we screw up the ceiling and do a knock-down texture to replace the hideously done popcorn ceiling along with a heavy orange peel on all of the walls to blend out all of the imperfections. We were very happy with these recommendations he gave and felt he understood what was important to us in this job and so we decided to hire his company. The very next day they got to work and in a week's time, our entire 1525sqft home was beautifully changed into what we had hoped for from the first moment we walked into the home. If you are looking for a company that meets deadlines, has fair pricing, and genuinely cares about the finished product they leave you with, look no further and give Jay's drywall a call.
