It would have taken less time but both he and I had prior commitments which added 1-2 weeks to the project. He offered an initial free phone consultation to answer any questions and further explain the advantages of a Living Trust vs. a simple Will. After I signed the Attorney-Client Retainer Agreement, I was sent Estate Planning Worksheets which Kevin used to create a draft of my Living Trust. He and I reviewed the draft over the phone and once I approved the final document, we were ready to schedule a signing meeting. I left the meeting with an Estate Planning Binder which contained all the signed documents and many additional helpful tabs such as "Funding Instructions", "Memorial Instructions", etc. I would strongly recommend Kevin Szotkowski if you are considering creating a Will or a Living Trust. He is knowledgeable, easy to work with, and his price was comparable or less than other offices I contacted.

Ms. Caffaratti represented my abuser in court proceedings. In that role, motions were filed that…read moreresulted in protective orders being dropped and required continued interaction with my abuser. Those outcomes were extremely harmful and retraumatizing for me. As a survivor of severe domestic violence, I have suffered life-altering physical injuries, including a double mastectomy due to blunt force trauma, removal of a significant portion of my chest cavity, and years of physical therapy related to neck injuries and nodules resulting from repeated strangulation. The legal outcomes in this case directly impacted my sense of safety while I was still coping with these serious medical consequences. I was 8 month pregnant when Ms. Caffaratti began assisting my domestic abuser. Based on my experience, I believe this advocacy showed a willingness to push ethical boundaries without adequate consideration for the real-world impact on survivors of abuse. This review reflects my perspective as someone directly affected by those legal actions.

On June 12 I told the women I was uninterested in hiring them for my case to return the money back to aarag. I told her 2 times because she kept asking me are you sure we can hold on retainer and I said no give it back. Fast forward to today I needed a lawyer. Turns out they didn't give Aarag back the money. So I called the receptionist and I asked her why didn't the money get returned back to aarag. I'm trying to get a lawyer and since you guys have the money still Ill try to use u guys we made a appointment and then I receive a email 4 hours later by a lady named Beth stating that I was being hostile. Just because I ask for my money back does not mean I'm being hostile. I pay arag every month for their service. I didn't hire you guys so give them the money back so I can hire someone else. This place is wierd and so is the receptionist I called her back and asked her why she said I was being hostile and she said she was new and didn't like my voice. Like yeah okay I mean I guess sorry !? But that's my voice and I can't control that. But whatever based on my experience I wouldn't recommend this place. This place is really money hungry and told me over the phone that there only going to give back Half to aarag when they didn't even help me with anything . aarag is now having to ask for their money back.
