Saw a beautiful sunset at this park. Was able to see the whole sunset. Get there early to get a spot!

That's the same price that Love's charges so I figured I'd just wait and find one for free later. Gas prices here are competitive though the 10 cents per gallon at Love's is going to win. There is a full-service sit-down Denny's here, which beats Love's for fast food McDonald's. So depending on your preference for things, this might just do ya. This Flying J has 12 automobile fueling stations and a separate area for highway truckers. The fuel offered for automobiles are octanes 87, 89, and 92. Plus diesel is offered. They have extended handle windshield squeegees which makes cleaning windshields a lot easier if you have a large car or truck. Inside they have just about every imaginable car and truck accessories needed - from oils, antifreeze, to CB radios. They have coffee stations where you can grind your own or choose from hot bins of House premium coffees. For those wanting more than just a snack, this Flying J had a Subway inside and a Denny's attached to the side. Prices seem reasonable and competitive with similar places. A lot of professional truckers stop here. The restrooms are clean and there's dedicated shower rooms for them, along with a tv lounge and game room. The employees are polite and friendly. This is a good place to stop.

This one smells amazing the second the doors slide open. Not industrial cleaner. Not fried mystery air. Just fresh, clean, and weirdly comforting. The bathrooms? Impeccable is honestly underselling it. Bright lighting, spotless floors, fully stocked, no weird vibes. It feels maintained, not just "managed." And the food -- why is it actually good-good? Not "I'm hungry so this works." I mean flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. The kind of stop where you finish your meal and think, "Okay wait... that was kind of elite for a highway break." The whole place feels intentional -- clean lines, easy layout, quick in-and-out without chaos. It's giving "rest stop rebrand." Port St. Lucie Service Plaza, you exceeded expectations and then some. 10/10. No edits.

The Port St. Lucie Service Plaza on Florida's Turnpike is a 24/7 travel hub that offers everything a traveler needs. It features food options like Dunkin', Burger King, and Villa Italian, along with pet areas, EV charging stations, ample parking, and clean restrooms. The service plaza is perfectly designed for traveler convenience, providing fuel, snacks, and a place to rest. This was exactly what I was seeking during a long drive. Located conveniently on the median of the turnpike, it's a fairly large and well-maintained location. The facility is clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful, making it an ideal stop for anyone on a long journey.

They also have a pizza place but anytime I'm there the line is insanely massive. It was a nice easy time to find parking and when I got inside the place was insanely clean. The bathrooms could've definitely used a better cleaning because it was a little dirty and dingy in there... The food prices ay the Wendy's I stopped at were decent but what stinks is they don't offer any of the combo meals. Everything here is al la carte which makes sense so they can make more money. The staff was friendly (for the most part) and the place was clean. There was an insane amount of spots to sit and eat and everything was clean table wise. This is my go to stop when I'm on the turnpike and it will continue to be!

It wasn't worth being late to my destination to wait in the line. I skipped the coffee and pressed on. Florida's roads are getting packed sooner and staying this way all day. It's almost impossible to see a time of day when there isn't traffic. The infrastructure on the roads isn't supporting the recent population growth. There's been an increase in population plus tourists and the usual snow birds who live in the areas. It's getting noticeably bad. The state's going to have to budget to improve these things for safety reasons. The service stations aren't what they used to be. Fort Pierce was renovated but it still has long wait times. It was not convenient.

It was late at night. We knew that they would be open. We ordered our favorite Turkey and bacon toasted sandwiches as we always do but these weren't as good as the others that we have had. Things happen and we can overlook something like that. But the next thing to happen was unforgivable in my book. The ladies bathroom had no toilet paper!! I went to ask the guy at the counter for TP and he said he didn't have any extra but that I should go over to the coffee stand and grab some napkins there. I went over there but there were no napkins of any kind there. I went back to the employee but he said they must be out of TP. He didn't even check the men's bathroom for extra. You think he would have checked stock items when he started his shift and ordered some. Luckily, my daughter had extra tissues and napkins in her handbag to save the day for both of us. Future visitors to the bathroom would be in trouble. I would not stop in here again in the future.
