Ended up getting a lesson today from Aaron Theobald at the Golf Learning Center…read more Let me just say that before this lesson, I could hit maybe two balls in the air out of an entire bucket. I cracked my driver as well. After the 30 minute lesson, I could drive 90% of the balls about 200 yards. Side note: after we left the Golf Learning Center, we went to the Den to practice more. I hit 250 yards out there. I can't wait to see what I can do when I really get the form down. WHAT?!?!?!? Aaron is miracle worker. For real. I highly recommend him for anyone starting out or anyone who is struggling with golf. It is really exciting to go from crazy frustrated to confident and excited in 30 minutes. I question some of the hole handicaps, some of the par3's are harder than the par5's. All of the par4's are relatively short, its quite easy to get within ~75 yards of the green for most. Carts are new & nice and have GPS enabled,also a distress signal if something happens. Portalets around the course are few and far-between, I would not dare use them. Concessions are totally affordable, some of the best beer & snack prices I've ever come across!
