Amazing food and service. Hole in the wall feel. Most authentic Mexican food I've had in St Louis.

The special with asada was on point.

Most authentic and delicious Mexican food I've had in years. Clean and delicious! Can't wait to come back.

This one is tough for me since I am the first reviewer and I want this place to do well, but a few things fell short with the first being the price, and because your near the airport you can't have in-airport pricing. $14 dollars for the burrito pictured is too high IMO. Moving onto the burrito, the provided salsas were delicious, the asada was underwhelming and lacked flavor and crispiness expected in a well prepared carne asada. Additionally, there was very little steak with majority of the burrito being beans and rice with the ratio off IMO. In a 14 dollar asada burrito there better be some meat, some in each bite. On to the service, it was outstanding. Menu arrived quickly as well as the ordered water, followed by the burrito about 10 minutes later, brought initially with only red, I was offered green and it was brought immediately back. Overall, I will give it another chance because it opens early at 6am and has more than Mexican fare and is extremely close to the airport. The restaurant is spotless, just hope they will pay attention to what I consider is important. I have often stated that yelp really needs 1/2 stars because I believe this currently sits at a 3.5 stars, but prices are a little out of line if I was wanting to stop in for lunch. $18 for a burrito with water and tip is high!

Food is fantastic, I highly recommend. There was just one guy running the whole joint and I mean serving and cooking.

I tried giving this place a second chance because last week I ordered a burrito that was straight up disgusting, and I thought maybe it was just a bad day. Nope. Turns out the food is just consistently terrible. This time I ordered TWO tacos for almost $10 and I genuinely could not believe what I was served. Tiny, pathetic little tacos with absolutely ZERO flavor. No seasoning, no freshness, nothing. The meat was weirdly chunky like scraps thrown together at the last second. I've had school cafeteria food with more flavor than this. And somehow the attitude was even worse than the food. The person taking my order acted like they were doing me a favor by acknowledging my existence. Complete power trip energy for absolutely no reason. The nerve of catching an attitude while serving food this bad is honestly insane. Then they had the audacity to charge an extra 50 CENTS for sauce -- sauce that the tacos desperately needed because they were dry and flavorless. Nickel-and-diming customers while serving garbage is crazy. The wait time was ridiculous too. You stand packed inside this cramped little building with no room to move, waiting forever for food that tastes like it was made with zero effort or pride. I tried to be fair and give Casa Garcia another shot before leaving a review, but after two horrible experiences back to back, I can confidently say I will never come back. Overpriced, bland food, rude service, ridiculous waits, and an uncomfortable atmosphere. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.

Great sign to us that people love coming here. We ordered the chicken flautas, shrimp tacos, a barbacoa taco, elote in a cup, and a strawberry Agua fresca. The food was wonderful! My favorite was the chicken flautas. They were very crisp but the chicken inside was so moist. The toppings and the salsa was a wonderful addition. They really need to bottle and sell that salsa. It was some of the best we've had. I'm a non beef eater but my husband said the barbacoa was . He said it was hard to determine his favorite between that and the flautas but if he had to choose it's the barbacoa because it was juicy and very flavorful. It also held together well in the corn tortillas. He wished he ordered more than one. The strawberry Agua fresca was very tasty. It reminded me of a strawberry milkshake. The portions are so plentiful and the menu has so many choices. We are looking forward to trying new things. We were so full we didn't get to try desserts, as it is a Paleteria, but we will most definitely be back!

I enjoyed my burrito and fries-- I thought the burrito was a tad bland but nothing a bit of hot sauce couldn't fix. The portions were very generous and there was a lot of meat on the taco as well. There was a bit of a language barrier with ordering but the cashier and staff were all very nice. We did end up googling some of the menu item for clarification though. There is a lot of seating in the back room as well as in the front room. Overall very reasonable prices, good flavor, and nice portion sizes. Will plan on coming back!
