I believe the key to its success lies in its former manager, Brian, who had a great team and exceptional customer service skills. Although the car wash has changed ownership over the years, I'm hopeful that it can regain its family-run charm. While my recent experiences have been somewhat disappointing, with no one available to dry my car, I appreciate the attention to detail in the pre-spray and scrubbing process. Staff is mostly nice. Sometimes they take their aggravation of being busy out on the customers with short, sarcastic remarks. For example, our last visit took almost two hours. DO NOT use this car wash. I had an extremely disappointing experience with this car wash. During the wash, the machine completely ripped the shark fin antenna off my vehicle. The part was later found inside the car wash itself, clearly proving the damage happened there. This is obviously not something that normally happens during a routine car wash, which strongly suggests their equipment malfunctioned or was not operating properly. Despite the clear evidence, management refused to take any responsibility for the incident or cover the repair costs to my vehicle. Instead of standing behind their equipment and customer service, they dismissed the issue and left me to deal with the damages on my own. On top of this I paid over $40 for the wash, which is ridiculous, and wasn't even reimbursed that cost. Accidents can happen, but refusing accountability when your equipment damages a customer's vehicle is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere, especially if you care about how a business handles customer claims and property damage. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE. Don't waste your money or your time going here. Find a different car wash. This once wonderful family fun car wash is now a corporate owned, cut every expense, raise every price, pay bare minimum wages kind of company that cares NOTHING about your experience or the quality of their service. Went in today, Sept 25, 2025. Not one employee smiled or seemed to care. My presence felt like it was just a bother to them. 1. The one lonely guy working the kiosks (where several people used to be) cares nothing about your car wash. I mentioned how poor their service has become. He said he hears that A LOT - and they have cut more than half their employees. 2. Paid $50 for the top interior/exterior package. Used to be able to do a walk in detail on a weekday. Now you have to book a week in advance and pre-pay. There was not one person or car in the detail center. 3. After driving thru the car wash, I went to the interior clean area where ONE person was doing interiors. There were about 10 cars waiting. When another employee finally came out after I just sat there for 5 minutes, he told me it would be a 30 minute wait. There used to be about 5 or 6 people working the interior clean area. 4. I went inside for a refund and to talk to the manager. She cares NOTHING about what is happening or that I was not happy with the service. She just issued me a refund of 16 dollars. I paid 34 dollars for the lousiest was and service I have ever received. Five years ago, I gave Jax, a privately owned company a 5 star review. This is now a corporate owned, stripped down, bar minimum car wash. I won't be back. Go someplace else. read more

I have been a member for many years. It used to be $30/mth for full service with full time staff to inside and out of the vehicle. I get labor costs have changed but 2years later the service has doubled and offers less service. The monthly membership is now $60/ mth and now they offer limited times to service the interior and exterior. The times for interior are during business hours which is not ideal for the working person. Today I attempted to get the inside and outside service performed during appropriate hours. After waiting 45 mins no one had touched the inside of the car. For this cost per month the membership is substantially losing value. This is not what I call good service. I come here to get my car washed and live on University. I pay 39.00 a month to have an unlimited. I drive there yesterday at 12:30 and it's closed on a mid day Saturday afternoon with no reason posted. I now have to go to another car wash to pay today. I feel like I should be refunded this month due to me not being able to use my membership and the distance I drive. Also, they do not wipe the cars down anymore for a while now and paying this money and the service has gone downhill. read more

STAY AWAY! I was a long time customer. Recently, I bought two brand NEW vehicles, Tundra and Model Y. They both have scratches after going through Jax Carwash. I paid an independent company to remove the scratches and applied ceramic coating to protect the paint. It was expensive process and now i can no longer take it to the contact car wash. I called, explained the reasons and canceled my yearly prepaid unlimited membership. Jax escalated to upper local management and they agreed to refund my remaining unused 5 months. After a few days, corporate bookkeeping informed me that they will NOT refund or work anything out with me. Jax doesnt value their customer. read more

When I pulled up to pay I ask the girl to include in my wash TIRE CLEAN she did not, when I entered car wash ask attendant to spray my tires because they were extremely dirty he did not do that too busy listening to his music with the ear phones in his ears. Needless to say I did not have a good experience till I went too have the car towel dried, I explained to Danny who helped me, I explained too him what I experienced and he spent close too 45 minutes cleaning my rims, I would give him a 10 out of 10. Free vacuums and air hose for self care before you drive into wash, clear signage and plentiful service., including towel dry. You can choose from a simple exterior wash for $7 to a full detail, with several options in between. After a thorough vacuum, I chose the "Good" which was very good. Car is clean inside & out. They are also fund raising for Hones for Our Troops which builds and renovates homes for injured veterans. Good stuff. Like most car washes in the area, they offer a subscription or "unlimited" plan. We're just not filthy enough, and a three year auto lease runs no danger of rust. Next time I do need inside windows done! read more

The wash was awful. My truck still had dirt on the sides, and the windshield was smeared with bug spatter. The hand drying was done by two guys using dirty towels, barely soaking up the wet spots. Overall, it felt like a rip-off. read more

terrible service!!!! I had an appointment at 9:15am for an interior and exterior cleaning. I was told to come back at 11:30am to be picked up. I arrived at 11:40am and i was told by Emily that they didn't start on my car. i explained that at 9:15am the place was empty, why didn't anyone call or text me that they were not able to service my car? My car was in the back with all the doors open, nothing was done after more than 2 hours! Complete waste of time and Emily had a bad attitude even though it was their fault. Never again, thanks for saving me over $200 plus tip! I went to a gas station and paid $11 and paid my 11 year old son $50, the cash I had in my pocket for a tip. My son did a great job and with a smile too! i hope this helps anyone to avoid this. read more

I would certainly rate this car wash in the below negative direction if given the opportunity. Let me start with the inferior equipment used to produce a clean car. There is nothing I can point to that defines an "Express" wash. Basically, it's a tech with a rag. I barely understand how they can in all good conscience, sell customers memberships for an inferior product. But, as I understand it, that's the corporate edict and all that matters. I believe that great customer service is the key to any successful business, and despite the staff's untiring ability to deliver quality service, as well a quality product, Mammoth Holdings falls short in every category. In today's volatile market, customers deserve what they are paying for. How they can justify their existence is beyond comprehension. Shame on you. read more

Beware of the non-disclosed fine print in the monthly subscriptions! Done with using anything but CASH at this carwash and no monthly subscription, guessing that is the slick way of ONLY paying by credit and not cash, so they can rip you off! Nice brushless system which now is the only good thing about this small business! They outsourced their customer service billing department to a management partner in GA. No big deal you would think, except when I paid for a promotional monthly wash special and they decided NOT to inform me that they would randomly charge me a much higher fee without notice and before the expiration date of the wash I paid for! Ugh! So now I am inconvenienced by canceling the card I used because the local shop can't help and the arse CR guy hung up on me! Jax car wash always does a great job with my car, interior & exterior. Took my suv there this weekend. It was covered with bugs and pollen from a road trip. 30 mins later, it looked great. Even got compliments on it. Staff is hard working and pleasant. You can sit outside covered area with fans or air conditioned very comfortable inside waiting area. Brought our Cadillac here for an exterior wash and interior clean. The exterior looks pretty good. THE INTERIOR CLEANING HOWEVER IS TERRIBLE. This place was not worth the price. I spent $40 to get the full treatment for the truck. It was supposed to include vacuuming and window washing. I get the truck back and the floor mats are the same state as why I drove up in and the windows were only properly cleaned on the driver side of the windshield. The back window has a small attempted cleaning streak and that is it. This places is definitely not worth the price and I'm glad I didn't sign up for monthly programs they were trying to up sell. read more

Exterior wash is good value. I subscribe to their top service Recently scheduled an interior detail and 50 minutes later they say it's done. Where they parked it lighting was bad but all they did was armor all the top of dash. Zero touch of vents cup holders shifter window buttons glass nothing. Waste of money and scammed me As mentioned I subscribe to their top tier service and BEWARE today went to have interior cleaned (part of service not the "detail") and they PUT MY CAR KEYS wiper blade on windshield OUTSIDE of my car. ADDITIONALLY, after 15 minutes seeing cars behind me cycle thru and get cleaned I asked when will you get to mine? They said another 15-20 minutes. So I got in and drove out that's when I saw keys on outside of car Would I recommend ? Eh. They're usually good for superficial cleaning but never recommend for actual detail and I'll be looking elsewhere for another service that's reliable read more

I have my car washed a few times a month at Jax Kar Wash and they always do a great job. Today I had the best car wash yet. I watched as Chianti serviced my car as if it were his own. After wiping down the whole car, he went around again and scrubbed/rubbed each and every mark that may have not come off in the wash. He cleaned the inside as well as the outside. Beware of this car wash!! I only had been here twice and did not have a membership here. Unbeknownst to me, I have been getting charged a $60 membership fee since January 2023. I never signed anything. I received no notice or texts of any of these charges as promised on their terms of service. They've taken over $500 of my money and did not offer to remedy it in any way. Very disappointed and wanted to let everyone know to check your statements because this place may be charging you for something you never agreed to, or that they never told you you were agreeing to!! The quality is service a JaxCar Wash has declined significantly. They were always the best around town but not anymore. My husband and I have unlimited washes for both vehicles. They do not do a good job and I always have to point out what's been missed. They don't have the enough staff and I sit for at least an hour waiting for them to dry. Beware! Do not use a credit card to pay for your wash. They signed me up for a recurring monthly membership for $60.00! Never signed an agreement nor verbally agreed to it. All I did was use my credit card to pay for one wash. It took me 2 months to realize that they were charging me monthly. I went to the store and they "could not help me." Referred me a corporate number which places you in an eternal hold and does not call back. They signed me up to a monthly membership without my approval. Dec 6th 2022 I visited the business and paid $45 for unlimited washes for one month. I did not agree to a monthly membership or much less signed any agreement. Jan 6th they billed my AMEX $59.99 which I did not know about. Jan 29th I returned to wash my car one time and paid $37.31 since I did not know that they were charging me for a monthly membership. Feb 6th 2022 I saw my CC billing statement and realized they were charging me another $59.99 which is when I realized I was getting charged a monthly fee. I visited the local store and they had no record of me! They told me that I should have signed a paper to agree to the monthly charge which I never did! I was told "they could not help me" and referred my to local number 941-746-9274. I spoke to Kendra who would truly did not listen to my complaint and told me that I must have agreed to the monthly charge. She refused to transfer me a manager and refused to cancel my pending charge for today. I asked for this recurrent charge to stop, but I do not trust that it will be done. read more
