BRADENTON LOCATION SUNDAY, NOV 15 I have been a subscriber for 2.5 years. I have had to interact with the guys in the office on perhaps 3 occasions and each time it is a good experience - which keeps me coming back. TODAY I had an issue that needed resolving that could have been handled in a number of different ways - to varying degrees of good customer support and professionalism. I met with RYAN, the manager on duty, and he was totally accommodating, very professional and extremely polite. Don't lose him. He's an asset. I'm a business owner and I know how important it is to know the value of an good employee. read more

Even though their employees take your credit card and sign you up, they hold you to mysterious terms and conditions you're never shown. The curb in this place eats rims for breakfast, there are huge potholes, the ownership is awful. Avoid these guys and go down the street to the new one. Just file a chargeback on all the charges when they fight you. Since they never show anyone the terms and conditions, they can't hold you to it. read more

The wash cycle left the soap on and then dried it on. I need to go somewhere else to get it properly done. Did not wash off hardly any of the exterior dirt on car. Car is brand new and was not that dirty. Tried to call and the number is registered to north port and rings busy all of the time. Horrible experience. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Waste of your money!! read more

I've been a customer of Coastal Car Wash for several years and previously had a monthly membership. Overall my experiences have mostly been positive, which is why this interaction today was disappointing. In the past, employees at both the SR-70 and SR-64 locations told me it was fine to stop in briefly for a quick vacuum without purchasing a wash. I've only done this occasionally and it usually takes me about 5 minutes. Today at the 53rd location, a woman who said she was the general manager told me I had to purchase a wash to use the vacuum. I completely understand businesses having rules and would have gladly followed that if it had simply been explained respectfully. Instead, the interaction felt unnecessarily rude, and the vacuum was shut off while I was using it after only a couple minutes. I later called for clarification and was told that while policies may have changed, it can sometimes depend on the manager's discretion at each location, which explains why I had never run into this issue before. As someone who previously paid for a monthly membership and referred family members here, this experience was frustrating. Part of the reason I canceled my membership before was because supplies were often empty (towels or window spray) and equipment like vacuums sometimes wasn't working. Even today I noticed some stations without towels and nearly empty spray bottles. I still believe Coastal can provide a good service, but customer communication and consistency between locations would really improve the overall experience. read more

I went for a one-time car wash in April, and they signed me up for a membership that I was not aware of. I did get a partial refund, when I complained. Be careful, don't get signed up for something you don't want. read more

Watch your credit/debit cards when you go to this car wash. My debit card was used for their membership that was not authorized.

The surface of my car paint was severely damaged by the wax sprayed on during there 23.99 wash. It is embedded into my paint and has brush marks of white that will not polish out. The wax is also etched right into my windshield and my back window and will not come out with any amount of cleaning. My hood was shiny and beautiful and I had rinsed it with their sinks of pre-wash and the hood was shiny. After coming through the car wash the shine was gone on that entire right side and there was hard splash marks embedded into the windshield as well. read more

do not use this car wash!! I used it for a one time wash hot signed up for a membership I never signed up for I didn't catch this till this month. it's been a year. 400 bucks down the drain. DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH!!!!! read more

This car wash lies to you about the monthly membership and makes it next to impossible to cancel I was offered a 'one time' deal for unlimited car washes for one month That there would be no recurring charge and that I did not need to cancel anything. One month later, my account is being charged for another month. I called immediately and explained what happened. They would NOT refund my money. They would only offer me a discount for the next three months or I could use the unlimited car washes for the next month. I insisted that I just wanted a refund, but they refused read more

Went here back in March and paid for a one time car wash. Except they signed me up for a memebership that I had zero clue about. Called and they told me they couldn't refund me only cancel my subscription (that I didn't even know about) place is a scam. $60 down the drain. read more

I used to be a huge fan until my new 2026 Tacoma was scratched all over the hood and passenger side. I immediately reported the damage and received a claim number. The corporate office tells me there is no timeline for them to make a decision on my claim! That is unacceptable. I had the new truck for about two weeks. Stay away as they will not assume responsibility for damages. I'm rating it one star since there is no option for negative stars. read more

We were vacationing in bradenton and took our car to ck coastal express once. They said i would pay $17.99 and get free washes all month. THey never said it was a recurring monthly plan. When i asked for the recurring charge to be refunded they refused. Do not go there unless you happen to live there and plan on going often. NOT A GOOD WAY TO DO BUSINESS read more

Went to Coastal Express car wash in North Port, FL and the person at the gate kiosk asked me if I'd rather spend the same amount of money and have the whole month to get car washes. I said sure and for the next three months (until I figured it out) I was charged on my card for car washes which I had no warning about. $75 later I had only 1 car wash and they just kept charging my account without my knowledge. When I finally cancelled it, they wouldn't even let me have 1 car wash before the end of the month. Just stopped it. Don't go there and if you do, beware of what they are selling you read more

Went in for 1 car wash and was signed up for monthly payments without my knowledge at the Bradenton fl 3 months later I realized this and canceled. When I called to seek reimbursement I was told to bad . So I ended up paying $ 80 for 1 car wash. Terrible company beware!!!! read more

I drove to clean the cars Sunday, was told they were closed for service. Didn't know how long. Went back that afternoon, still down. Went back today 4 days later, still closed. I pay for a unlimited monthly wash, no offer to pause my account, no rebate for service? I cancelled today after 10 years and two memberships and joined suds stop. read more

We've been out of town for two weeks and during that time we got a charge from Coastal car wash we drove in today to get it fixed straightened out because our car was nowhere near Coastal car wash, but they refused to give us a copy of receipt said our vehicle had been in there numerous times we only got one discrepancy on our bill though we will not be going back as she refused to give us a car wash to give us our money back. She said there was absolutely nothing she could do. We definitely will find a new car wash read more

Used to really love the convenience and level of clean, NOT anymore! They've done an "upgrade" to the system and, get this, no longer use soap for the basic wash! Seriously??? For an additional $10 a month and I have soap added back to my wash! With car wash places popping up everywhere, you know what I'm going to do! So sad! read more

Coastal Express Car Wash - See the exposed metal and the missing red light ?!? - Car Wash Near Me - Bradenton, Florida

About a month ago I took my Yukon Denali thru this wash and my car was in perfect condition. The hood of my car is now completely scratched up. When I took the car in to be looked at by the manager on duty he claimed that it couldn't of happened there. When I asked if anyone else has had any issues I was told no. I went inside to leave my contact information for the head manager to call me. The story changed and I was told that they already had pictures of my car and that the claim was denied. The guy didn't realize his mistake considering this was the first time I'd shown anyone the damage (so apparently I wasn't the only one this happened to). I did receive a call back from the store manager. Took my vehicle in for him to see and they are still claiming the damage wasn't a result of their car wash. When I asked about the vehicle they already denied he claims they had a issue with their clear coat. So two cars, two hoods damaged and both around the exact same time and neither are their fault!!! The body shop I took it to claims that's not the case. The damage to my hood looks to be caused by a car wash and Coastal Carwash is the only one I've ever used. I understand things happen, but they accept no responsibility for the damage I'm now left with! read more

if i could do 0 stars i 100% would. i was asked NO details other than a phone number, neither my name or email. the wash its self is mediocre at best and the only reason i got it is because it was offered with the 25$ i paid for the wash. obviously i have no receipt because one wasn't handed to me neither was one emailed to me because i wasn't asked for my email. i was sent through a process to access my account and the link that i was sent wasn't even the correct link. the worse part is you can't even call the store directly. i will never even think to buy a carwash from this place, i could easily wash my car myself way better than this establishment . read more

The attendants acted like they were too lazy to move. They brushed the back a little but never touched the sides or the front with a brush. We only did the $15 job. If we had done the most expensive like we do at home and it came out like it did today I would have demanded a rewash. It was ridiculous read more

I hate to have to leave a 1-Star review but I gave Coastal multiple chances to get back to me and haven't heard a word. Went in for one of the mid tier washes and came out with deep scratches in my hood. I know they were from this wash as I had looked over the whole car when doing bug removal prior to pulling in. There was nothing. Right after I see them in my hood. Multiple calls, two voicemails with my contact info, and I haven't heard a word. I understand things happen, but to be completely unresponsive is unacceptable. I will be trying one more time to reach them and then considering a lawyer to pursue their insurance company. There's enough car washes around that there's no need to visit Coastal. read more

Excellant car wash. They have large containers with brushes with long handles so you can scrub the bugs and tar off before washing without getting yourself wet. Their $5 basic wash is great if you don't need/ want wax and they have a two rows of places to park afterwards with high power vacuums and mat cleaners to help you clean up the inside of your car. A very affordable option to keep your car clean. read more
