He showed up Sunday morning 6/2/19, mind you I called Saturday, 6/1/19! 3. This is where it gets embarrassing--because he was so awesome in his availability, frankly he caught me off guard and I forgot to clean up my Great Dane's poop in the yard. Ha ha Thank Goodness I had cleaned the massive poop piles on Friday morning so I'm prrrrretty sure he only discovered 2-3 mounds. Lol, I caught a peek of him through the window as he cleaned them up. Thought for sure he would mention it or there would be an extra charge, but NOT A WORD. 4. He did a phenomenal job on cutting/edging the grass in the front and back yard, trimming my out of control bush and cleaned up after himself "like a big boy" (trust me, I've heard horror stories). 5. I was a bit sketchy at first because he wasn't able to tell me the price he would charge until he showed up, but he explained how it depends on the square footage, etc. DUH!!!! Long story short, I felt like an idiot...especially when he told me the price (freaking awesome) I could have kicked myself for not having called two years ago & ten heatstrokes earlier. Today, the owner came to my door and told us not to speak to his workers about moving the truck, but to call the number on the truck or the police instead. He insisted they were legally parked and characterized it as a minor inconvenience. However, the sheriff's department told us that blocking a driveway with the truck or the lowered gate is not legal. The owner also questioned why we need to leave every time they are there, which is none of his business. We have places to go, and we should not have to repeatedly deal with a blocked driveway just to come and go from our own home. When we called his behavior gaslighting, he responded by insulting us and saying we were too old to use that word. He also said he would tell his workers to park there, which came across as a threat rather than an attempt to resolve the problem. The entire interaction was unnecessary and unprofessional. Rather than take responsibility for an ongoing issue and work toward a solution, the owner was dismissive, argumentative, and disrespectful. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company. Edited to respond I most certainly did not yell at anyone, anytime they've been out, including today. I simply asked them to move. Lawn equipment is going & I'm across the street so naturally I have to raise my voice to be heard. To clarify, I have left on previous occasions when I've asked the crew to move so I could access my driveway. The owner has not been present during those incidents. He became involved today, when he came to my door to confront me about asking his crew to move. The trailer or gate has repeatedly been left down and blocking my driveway. It was blocking the driveway when the owner came to my door today. Today was the only time I did not leave, because I went inside to contact the sheriff's department regarding his behavior. My concern has always been the repeated obstruction of my driveway and the way my concerns have been handled. I stand by my review.
