My husband had a dental issue he needed checked out. His usual dentist is +300 miles away so we needed to find someone local. The building is pretty old when we pulled up which gave my husband some second thoughts. The high rating gave him the courage to go in. You first walk into an entrance to the office and then to the waiting room. They have updated the inside nicely. It is clean and nicely decorated with beautiful pictures and cute seats for their younger patients. The dental exam rooms are also clean but it looks a bit more dated. I'm not sure how updates his actual dental equipment is but I'm sure it handles most problems. My dentist in LA has a 3-D printer so I'm used to a very updated office. However, Doctor Miles is very professional and is able to deal with most dental issues promptly. We only had a small issue but the doctor handled it fast and did a good job. I would recommend Dr. Miles.

Despite this, the oral surgeon repeatedly told me that I needed all four removed "either way" and continued insisting on all four extractions after I had already said no multiple times. My concerns were not addressed, and my refusal was not respected. I was then told that I should "think about it" because another patient was waiting who needed the procedure a lot more. This comment made me feel rushed and as though I was wasting their time for not agreeing, rather than being respected as a patient making an informed decision. I understand medical recommendations, but patient consent and respectful communication should always come first. Unfortunately, I did not feel listened to or supported during this visit. My family and I have been here multiple times with no problems. But this experience was definitely not worth coming anymore.

She cut most of my molar off and had a hard time installing the new crown. Since then that molar is very sensitive and my gum bleeds in that area. The crown is bulky. I went to another dentist, turns out that they left a gap between the crown and molar, that's what causing the sensitivity and bleeding. I went back to Dr. Perez office for a cleaning and explain the issues I've been having because of that gap and another random dentist this time told me that no replacement was necessary. I have never seen Dr. Perez at his office again, apparently he's never there. When I left I asked the receptionist for Dr. Perez direct contact so I could give him a call later since he's never at his office, the receptionist got triggered and started talking over me repeatedly up to the point when I had to tell her to calm down and let me speak. When I was able to finally get a word, I asked her to please tell Dr. Perez to give me a call, because I really need to get my crown replaced. She agreed. That was on June 19, 2021; today is March 3rd 2022, still no call from Dr. Perez or his receptionist. Update on my crown/molar: I have a cavity where the gap is and now I'm going to need root canal therapy along with replacing the crown. Of course I'm never going back to Dr. Perez. (Which is not Dr. Perez actually, it's just interns or new graduates that wont are there only for a month or two).
